California Supreme Court Denied Brad Pitt’s Appeal In His Custody Case With Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt’s latest legal move in his ongoing (and going and going and going) custody battle against Angelina Jolie over five of their six kids was denied. Brad and Angelina’s divorce fight had been overseen by Judge John Ouderkirk, a judge known to Brad and Angelina for a very long time (Judge John married Brad and Angelina back in 2014). Angelina thought something was fishy between Judge John and Brad’s legal team, so she petitioned to have him thrown off their case. A court reviewed the situation and agreed, and Judge John was gone, along with all the custody judgments he’d made. Brad ran to an appeals court and requested they take a look at that decision, in hopes that the decision would be overturned and Judge John’s custody ruling would remain as it was when Judge John tapped his little gavel or whatever. And….they didn’t. The decision stays, Judge John is still out.

Despite the fact that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are one teeny tiny step closer to ending their custody fight, they’re given a reminder that it is possible to be a famous actor and effectively be able to end shit once and for all. Case in point, Geena Davis, who after three and a half years of fighting with her estranged husband, has finally settled her divorce.
