Lana Del Rey Snapped At The Suggestion She Might Have Voted For Donald Trump

November 4, 2020 / Posted by:

The Lana Del Rey of the days of old may have best known for sleepily singing songs about video games and Pepsi-flavored crotches, but the current-day version of Lana is one that keeps making headlines for doing things that would make a person think, “Yeah, I could see her voting red.” Like dating a cop, tattling on police brutality protesters, dragging female artists of color, or not wearing a proper mask in public. But when one fan dared to suggest that Lana might have voted for Trump in the election, Lana responded with as much anger as a human melatonin pill can muster.

Lana Del Rey Wore A Mesh Mask To Meet Fans At A Book Signing

October 5, 2020 / Posted by:

Lana Del Rey has a new book of poetry out called, Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass, and she decided to have a surprise book signing at The Grove in L.A. on October 1, and announced it just hours before it went down. Sure, a sudden gathering of people during a pandemic seems like a stupid idea to anyone who isn’t on TikTok or shouting “MAGA!” but Lana charged ahead anyway. And I guess Lana was in the mood to piss people off with more dumbassery because she wore a glittery fishnet mask. How nice of Lana to give coronavirus something glamorous and sparkly to pass through while making its way up into her face holes.

Lana Del Rey Says That She’ll “Die An Underdog”

September 9, 2020 / Posted by:

Lana Del Rey, Billboard award-winner, Golden Globe and Grammy-nominated artist, Met Gala attendee, and cover girl of this month’s Interview Magazine–has said that she will “die an underdog.” So… is she suggesting something will happen between now and then? No, Lana was just singing some more self-inflicted blues as she got interviewed by her Norman Fucking Rockwell co-writer/co-producer, Jack Antonoff, and claimed she’ll end her career being misunderstood. I wonder if she brought a little tiny violin to the interview with her or if they had one already prepared?

Over the weekend, many celebrities spoke up about the Black Lives Matter demonstrations brought on after the police killing of George Floyd. Some celebrities even took part in the protestsLana Del Rey was having a rough week with the black community, so maybe she decided to show she was sorry by going to a protest herself? Alison Roman Returned To Instagram To Update Us On Her Rehabilitation

May 27, 2020 / Posted by:

I hope Alison Roman spent some of her time off baking a batch of The Cookies to put in the gift basket she owes Lana Del Rey as a thank you for acting as a human shield this week. Thanks to Lana, things are almost back to normal wherein Alison Roman’s existence is but a mere fact filed in the back of my mind like a can of chickpeas in my pantry that I keep forgetting about until I go to put away the new can I just bought like shit, now I have six. Yesterday, Alison tested the waters with a post confirming her leave from the New York Times by directing her followers to her newsletter. She also let us know that even though you’ve spent the past few weeks forgetting who she was, she’s been stewing (yes I did, deal with it) over her situation “24/7.

Lana Del Rey Defended Her Comments Again, This Time Adding FKA Twigs To The List Of Women Who Have It Better Than Her

May 26, 2020 / Posted by:

The artist formerly known as Lana Del Rey (I’m stripping her of her vaguely ethnic curly cues, she’s plain old Lizzy Grant again as far as I’m concerned) spent Memorial Day Weekend as most glamorous people do— recording a video denying she’s racist and doubling down on her victimhood. Yesterday, Liz posted a lengthy video on Instagram defending the controversial comments she made about “the culture last week, adding FKA Twigs to her list of women she faces a double standard against and reiterating “the need for fragility in the feminist movement.” Then she unfollowed Ariana Grande on Instagram. Guys, she’s just a glamorous person. What more can I say?
