Britney Spears’ Mom And Sister Each Posted Messages To Instagram In Response To Her Recent Court Win
Moms — There’s nothing quite like them. Some mom’s will move heaven and earth to help their children. And some will post illegible potato-quality bible verses and call it a day. Unfortunately for Britney Spears, Lynne Spears seems to be the latter kind of mom. According Us Weekly, both Lynne and Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn Spears “took to social media” in reaction to the news that Britney was finally allowed to choose her own attorney to represent her in her ongoing fight to contest the conservatorship she’s been existing under (“living” may be too strong a word) for the past 13 years. Lynne posted the aforementioned bible verse to Instagram and Jaime Lynn posted “cryptic quotes” to her Instagram stories. Still, it’s so heartwarming to see that Britney’s mom and sister have her back, or at the very least, have an internet connection.
Britney Spears Cartwheels For Joy After Winning The Right To Choose Her Own Lawyer
We’ve done a full 180 on seeing screaming “Leave Britney alone!” as overly dramatic or demented and now consider it the only appropriate response to literally anything going on with Britney Spears‘ 13-year conservatorship. 39-year-old Britney has mostly been under her father’s, 68-year-old Jamie Spears, control since 2008. Last month, Britney told the court many things including that she wants to pick her own lawyer, wants out of her conservatorship, and really wants her “abusive” and “cruel” father out as co-conservator.
There was another hearing yesterday, and she once again spoke out against her father’s cruelty saying she wanted to charge him with conservatorship abuse and have him investigated. And she did so with her brand-spanking-new lawyer who is ready to kick in teeth, which had Brit Brit so happy she cartwheeled for joy!
Madonna Is Coming To Get Britney Spears Out Of “Jail”
After Britney Spears testified in a court hearing that she wants out of her “abusive” 13-year conservatorship and wants to slip off her handcuffs and put them on her cruel father, Daddy Spears, and the rest of her family for what they’ve put her through, several celebrities declared that they’re on Team #FreeBritney. Those who showed support for Britney included Mariah Carey, Brandy, Halsey, Courtney Love, Britney’s ex-boyfriend, and Jameela Jamil (because if Jameela Jamil doesn’t insert herself into something, Twitter will crumble from the confusion of it all). The Queen of Pop kept quiet, at first, and that’s probably because she’s been busy digging an underground tunnel to Britney’s house so she can snatch Britney out of there. Or Madonna’s been busy trying to come up with the perfect on-brand statement that would bring the eye rolls. It was the second one.
Madge showed love and support for Britney, but she also compared Britney’s conservatorship to slavery, which made many roll their eyes so far back into their heads that they could not read the rest of what she said!
Lynne Spears Asked The Court To Let Britney Pick Her Own Lawyer
Seen above in 2015, holding court on an SUV chariot with Britney Spears in a paparazzi pic taken with an overcooked sweet potato, Lynne Spears has once again dipped her toe into Team #FreeBritney. Lynne has piped up and petitioned the court to grant Brit Brit’s wish of choosing her own lawyer to represent her in her fight to finally take a sledgehammer to the ball and chain that is her 13-year conservatorship. Just a couple of days ago, Sam Ingham, Britney’s court-appointed lawyer since 2008, resigned, and so she needs a new attorney. And Lynne has backed up Britney and wants her to have a say in who her next lawyer is. Cut to Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, putting on a “serious lawyer disguise” (read: Groucho Marx glasses, a very professional-looking clip-on tie, and a jacket pocket full of business cards that read “Justice McLaw, Serious Lawyer”) to try to get Britney to hire him as her new lawyer so he can get another check!
Britney Spears’ Manager Of 25 Years, Larry Rudolph, Resigns, Saying That His “Services Are No Longer Needed”
Over the weekend, Chris Hansen’s predator-catching successor, Ronan Farrow, dropped another flaming turd bomb in the lap of Daddy Spears when The New Yorker published his and writer Jia Tolentino’s exposé on Britney Spears’ 13-year conservatorship. Well, the flaming turd bombs keep dropping on Daddy Spears’ lap. Because this morning, Brit Brit’s manager of 25 years, Larry Rudolph, put in his quittin’ papers and said that he can’t manage the career of someone who really doesn’t want to have a career anymore. And TMZ is hearing that Brit Brit’s court-appointed lawyer, Sam Ingham, is also going to put in his quittin’ papers and resign as her attorney. Cut to the #FreeBritney movement holding up ZERO scores after watching Larry Rudolph and Sam Ingham swan dive off of the sinking ship that is Brit Brit’s conservatorship.
The Judge In Britney Spears’ Conservatorship Case Denied Her Request To Remove Her Dad As Co-Conservator (UPDATE)
Before Britney Spears finally spoke up for herself in court and painted her dad/co-conservator, Jamie Spears, as an abusive monster and said that she wants out of her 13-year conservatorship, her court-appointed lawyer, Samuel D. Ingham III, legally requested for Jamie Spears to be removed as her co-conservator. That was in November 2020. Well, Judge Brenda Penny denied that request. The #FreeBritney people will not be pleased and they will require blood in exchange for this. Meanwhile, Iggy Azalea has come out with some details on Jamie Spears which will only increase the bloodlust of Team #FreeBritney.
