Unfortunately for Britney Spears, Lynne Spears seems to be the latter kind of mom. According Us Weekly, both Lynne and Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn Spears “took to social media” in reaction to the news that Britney was finally allowed to choose her own attorney to represent her in her ongoing fight to contest the conservatorship she’s been existing under (“living” may be too strong a word) for the past 13 years. Lynne posted the aforementioned bible verse to Instagram and Jaime Lynn posted “cryptic quotes” to her Instagram stories. Still, it’s so heartwarming to see that Britney’s mom and sister have her back, or at the very least, have an internet connection.
