Over the weekend, the New York Times published a piece about Cheryl Hines’ marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who announced his candidacy for the 2024 Democratic nomination back in April. Robert is a right-leaning anti-vaxxer, and, in the past, Cheryl has stated that not all of his “opinions” reflect her own (see: that time he compared COVID vaccines to the Holocaust). Yet, in this NYT piece, Cheryl says she loves and supports her husband, and Robert claims most of his wife’s Hollywood friends “love and support” him too… including Larry David. But Larry texted the New York Times to clarify his so-called support: “Yes, love and support, but I’m not ‘supporting’ him.” So, love and support, but not support-support. Got it. I think.

Garth Brooks is opening a new bar in Nashville’s Lower Broadway area. It’s called “Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk,” and it’s scheduled to open this summer. Exciting news for country music fans! Or… is it? Cuz Deadline reports that, during a panel at Billboard Country Live this week, 61-year-old Garth revealed that his bar will sell “every brand of beer,” including Bud Light. Transphobes like Kid Rock and Travis Tritt are currently boycotting Bud Light for partnering with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney. But Garth says people who come to his bar will “love one another,” and the assholes can go elsewhere. Daaaamn, do I like Garth Brooks? Also, which one is Garth Brooks? Jennifer Aniston has partnered with a home fitness brand called Pvolve, and she’s talking to InStyle and British Vogue to promote that shit. Apparently, Pvolve’s whole thing is exercising without pushing yourself to the point of exhaustion/injury/death. 54-year-old Jennifer says this approach appealed to her cuz her old fitness routine used to be so intense she eventually “burnt out and broke my body.” Ugh, so relatable. That’s, like, my main issue with fitness. I simply go too hard and too long. I’m definitely not one of those losers who joined a gym in January, went once a week for three months, and then stopped going because “the weather got nice, so maybe I’ll take up jogging” (and, no, this hypothetical schlub did not take up jogging).

Now, I’ve never seen this guy before, but according to TMZ, he’s J. Cyrus, an actor/comedian/streamer/“influencer” type. And guess what? He’s problematic! Lindsay Lohan covers this month’s Allure, and in the interview, she talked about her pregnancy, her marriage to financier Bader Shammas, and living in Dubai. 36-year-old Lilo says she loves Dubai cuz it’s “the same thing every day,” and she craves structure. In the article, Allure’s Brennan Kilbane writes that Dubai is a wonderful place to live for someone “internationally famous” and “lavishly financed” like Lindsay. Mainly because the paparazzi is illegal there. But Brennan also points out that, for “many other demographic groups,” it can be “much less wonderful.” Translation: they don’t love basic human rights over there (DON’T TELL LINDSAY).
