Larry David Wants To Make It Clear That He Supports Cheryl Hines, But Not Her Anti-Vax Husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Over the weekend, the New York Times published a piece about Cheryl Hines’ marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who announced his candidacy for the 2024 Democratic nomination back in April. Robert is a right-leaning anti-vaxxer, and, in the past, Cheryl has stated that not all of his “opinions” reflect her own (see: that time he compared COVID vaccines to the Holocaust). Yet, in this NYT piece, Cheryl says she loves and supports her husband, and Robert claims most of his wife’s Hollywood friends “love and support” him too… including Larry David. But Larry texted the New York Times to clarify his so-called support: “Yes, love and support, but I’m not ‘supporting’ him.” So, love and support, but not support-support. Got it. I think.

Over the weekend, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. did what Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been known to do, which is to do the most to fight vaccines of all kinds. RFK Jr. hates vaccines, but especially the COVID-19 vaccines. And he held his own anti-vaccination rally in Washington, D.C., where he invoked the horrors of The Holocaust while preaching about the dangers of COVID vaccines. A whole lot of people heard that and instructed Cheryl Hines to come get her husband. She heard everyone, and she would like to make it clear she definitely doesn’t sanction RFK Jr.’s careless and insulting Holocaust comparison.
