“Euphoria” Creator, Sam Levinson, Is Thinking About Making A Movie For Kids
Now that Sam Levinson has finished with his latest problematic show, The Idol, starring and developed by Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, he’s looking to his next step. And it might not be TV, as he says that with his son nearing adolescence, he’s looking to create something that he can soon experience–like a version of The Goonies. Which, if you’ve never seen, is about a group of poor kids who try to save their homes from becoming a country club in foreclosure and go on a wild adventure that includes the mob and potentially lethal traps. So in Sam Levinson’s version, the kids will turn to selling drugs to save their houses and will get killed in a shootout with the mob over a deal gone wrong.
Jen Shah Of “The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City” Is Demanding An Investigation After A Prison Picture Of Her Was Leaked
Though the unsavory and immoral players of Scandoval have overshadowed most of the other many miscreants of Bravo for the past few months, lawless scammer extraordinaire Jen Shah still exists–though in captivity. She began serving a 6 ½ year prison sentence (that’s already been reduced by a year) back in February for pleading guilty to wire fraud in a telemarketing lead generation scam that mostly targeted the elderly. Up until now, we’ve only gotten a glimpse into her incarceration in the form of two badly written “Jen’s Diary” entries on her website, which hilariously has a spot where you can provide your email address (DON’T). But a pic of her in prison recently surfaced, and now she wants an investigation to see who was behind the camera. And shocking to no one, her victims haven’t seen a dime of the restitution she promised to pay back, so the Feds are hoping to garnish her The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City checks.
Judge Throws Out The Child Abuse Lawsuit Over The Nude Scene In 1968’s “Romeo And Juliet”
Waaaayyy before Sam Levinson’s insatiable need to force his audience into watching naked “high schooler,” there was Franco Zeffirelli, who directed the 1968 Romeo and Juliet film. The film features a scene where we see the bare butt of Leonard Whiting (Romeo) and the bare breasts of Olivia Hussey (Romeo), and well, they were underage at the time. Olivia was 15, and Leonard was 16. And back in January, Olivia and Leonardo, who are now both 72, filed a $500 million lawsuit against Paramount Pictures for sexually exploiting them as minors and for distributing nude images of children. But word just dropped that the judge is throwing out the case.

Country singer/actress turned professional oversharer Jana Kramer’s last marriage was a train wreck disaster that we all heard about because she and her cheating ex regularly shared their marital woes on her podcast. Well, Jana isn’t letting that shit ball of a marriage keep her from getting hitched again. Because Jana announced that she’s engaged to her boyfriend of six months, Allan Russell, who lives in England and is the coach for Norwich City Football Club. Yeah, just six months. So I’m guessing that in that picture above, that pooch is either sniffing for Snausages in Allan’s ear or is whispering to him, “Bitch, are you sure about this?” – Just Jared
According to the tabloids, Tom Cruise really, really wants to make Shakira his next girlfriend, but she’s not having it and wants him to leave her alone. There’s really an easy way for Shakira to get Tommy to stop waving a relationship contract at her to sign. She should just release a statement saying that she’s on Prozac and she loves it. He’ll never ever talk to her again! – Uproxx
Brian Cox Gives His Thoughts On That “Succession” Plot Twist
The season finale of Succession is this Sunday, and star Brian Cox sat down with BBC Two’s Amol Rajan to talk about the show’s success and his life and career. But, as we all know, it wouldn’t be a Brian Cox interview without the 76-year-old actor giving us a little Straight Talk (sorry, Dolly Parton, Brian owns the patent). Jeremy Strong can breathe a sigh of relief; this time, Brian didn’t go after his co-star’s “fucking annoying” method acting. Instead, he criticized his character’s story arc. Brian says he (SPOILER ALERT) understands that showrunner Jesse Armstrong “made a plan,” but he thinks Logan Roy shouldn’t have been killed off so early in the season.
