Elizabeth Holmes Has Reported To A Texas Prison To Begin Her 11-Year Prison Sentence
It’s official. After months of trying to delay her 11-year prison sentence and the New York Times helping her rehabilitate her image, Theranos fraudster Elizabeth Holmes has finally reported to the clink. According to the Associated Press, 39-year-old Elizabeth (sorry, Liz) entered a federal women’s prison camp in Bryan, Texas earlier today. And, small world alert, it’s the same minimum security facility where the feds sent Housewives telemarketing scammer Jen Shah. Man, I hope these two become grifter-besties and star in their own prison reality show called House Of Fraud with Holmes & Shah.

Though the unsavory and immoral players of Scandoval have overshadowed most of the other many miscreants of Bravo for the past few months, lawless scammer extraordinaire Jen Shah still exists–though in captivity. She began serving a 6 ½ year prison sentence (that’s already been reduced by a year) back in February for pleading guilty to wire fraud in a telemarketing lead generation scam that mostly targeted the elderly. Up until now, we’ve only gotten a glimpse into her incarceration in the form of two badly written “Jen’s Diary” entries on her website, which hilariously has a spot where you can provide your email address (DON’T). But a pic of her in prison recently surfaced, and now she wants an investigation to see who was behind the camera. And shocking to no one, her victims haven’t seen a dime of the restitution she promised to pay back, so the Feds are hoping to garnish her The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City checks.

Though Jen Shah deserves to get time added on to her 6.5-year prison sentence simply for her pre-plea deal”Not Guilty” merch, she instead just caught a break by having a whole year shaved off the time she’s currently serving after pleading guilty to wire fraud. Jen just reported to prison on February 17.

She heads to the clink today to spend 6.5 years there for defrauding thousands of (mostly elderly) people out of millions of dollars through a telemarketing scheme. Though at one point it seemed like Bravo Daddy Andy Cohen was one of her biggest shah-porters and didn’t think she should be locked up, he eventually changed his tune. He even said on Watch What Happens Live the other night that he suspects Jen gave her friend and fellow The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast mate, Heather Gay, the mysterious black eye she suffered on a season 3 cast trip to San Diego. Though Heather said on the show’s reunion last month that she was so blackout drunk she couldn’t remember how she got hurt and there was no video or audio of what happened to shed light on it, many fans and even other members of the cast subscribed to the theory that the characteristically volatile and aggressive Jen clocked her and Heather was keeping it quiet to protect her friend from further legal repercussions.

As a longtime Real Housewives watcher, I’ve seen my share of wild personalities, but when I saw Jennifer Shah on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, I knew something in the milk wasn’t clean about her. I didn’t know it was a marketing scheme primarily targeting the vulnerable elderly that left them traumatized and broke, but hey, I’m not the FBI. Jen played innocent until she took a plea deal and was sentenced to six and a half years in prison. On top of her prison sentence, Jen will have to complete a mental health treatment program once she eventually gets out. But Jen Shah has basically made a name for herself by making poor choices and being painfully self-unaware, so that’s exactly what she did. And a few days after the proceedings coined “The JENtencing,” fellow The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City wife, Whitney Rose, served Jen some shade in her Instagram Stories and when she appeared alongside Marilyn Manson Julia Fox on Watch What Happens Live.
