Open Post: Hosted By The “30” Billboards That May Be Signaling Adele’s Return

The last time Adele dropped an album was in 2015 with 25, which won her two Grammys and made her already-bursting-at-the-seams bank account even bigger. After the release of 25, she took some time off to get married and spend time with her son Angelo. Well, Angelo’s almost 9 years old and Adele’s marriage is over so she has plenty to sing about. now And since she has a habit of naming her releases after different ages of her life there has recently been a crop of billboards displaying the number “30” popping up, making many believe Adele is about to say Hello once again with some new music.

When it comes to misery with a spot of tea and crumpets, Adele is the undisputed Queen of England. Although she has recently made some headlines by showcasing a new man in her life I doubt whenever the new music comes out she’ll be singing about petting puppies while eating ice cream cones in the park. The fact of the matter is Adele hasn’t necessarily confirmed whether or not new music is coming, however Complex reports that a series of mysterious billboards may be her calling card for all of us to get ready to be in our feelings like Drake.

An Adele fan Twitter account, @adeledailynet posted photos of two billboards that read the number 30, though it’s unclear where they are located. “Something is happening. #30,” the account wrote.

33-year-old Adele’s fourth studio album was apparently supposed to come out in September, which would’ve brought on Cry Girl Autumn. But that never happened and now there’s a rumor it’ll be out before the end of the year. Those rumors have been beefed up by “30″ billboards popping up all over the world like crop circles letting you know that the invasion of tear-stained Kleenexes is about to be upon us once again.

The @adeledailynet claims that this is all a marketing ploy to prepare us for Adele’s new upcoming album titled, you guessed it, 30.

Back in 2015 when Adele dropped 25 it was just in time for Thanksgiving, which provided many a home chef the opportunity to cry, cook and drink before serving dry ass turkey and burnt macaroni and cheese to their families. And yes, by “many a home chef” I’m talking about myself. And if she drops 30 around the same time this year my family can look forward to the same disastrous meal as they got six years ago. Thanks a lot, Adele.

Hopefully, she won’t cause any more political family drama like she did last time either.
