Lena Dunham Got Married Over The Weekend
Hunter Biden, Odell Beckham Jr., and Brad Pitt’s bottom lip can all rest easier tonight knowing that Lena Dunham is officially off the market. People reports that Lena married her musician boyfriend Luis Felber over the weekend. Two years ago, Lena packed up her (apparent) last remaining follically challenged animal-child (a rescue dog named Ingrid) and moved to Wales to mend a broken heart. And well, I guess it worked. Luis is an English-Peruvian musician, known professionally as Attawalpa, You Know, Lena Dunham’s Husband.
Lena’s last known relationship was with Jack Antonoff, which ended in 2018 after 5 years and one imaginary human baby named Carrot. In an interview with The New York Times in April of this year, Lena revealed that she has had a new boyfriend for “a few months” and called him “the greatest person I’ve ever met.” According to People:

The Girls creator, 35, tied the knot with boyfriend Luis Felber, also 35, this weekend, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
Felber seemingly hinted at the special occasion early Sunday morning by posting the song “This Will Be Our Year” by The Zombies on his Instagram Story with heart and alien emojis.
Reps for Dunham did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
People adds that “in June, she shared a series of photos of the couple on Instagram in honor of his birthday.”
She also posted this on Twitter shortly thereafter.

Later that same month, Lena posted a photo of herself, Luis, and their “daughter” Ingrid, calling them her chosen family. Imagine being born with rich, well-connected parents that you don’t hate and choosing a totally different family! That’s crazy. I guess if you work hard enough, you really can have it all.
In an interview for The Line of Best Fit, Luis said he and Lena met on a blind date during lockdown. Lena later directed a music video for him.
Writer, director and actress Lena Dunham came on board to direct the video for the final track, EP closer “Tucked in Tight”, shooting the whole thing on an iPhone in London and around the English countryside. The visual for the seven-minute song came together as the pair were forging their own romantic connection after meeting on a blind date and falling in love over the comedy of Chris Morris. “You can’t really do much during lockdown other than blind dates,” Felber laughs. “Lena and I just hung out or listened to music and chatted. She’d never heard of Chris Morris so I played her Jam and that’s when we first fell in love. When she saw how much I laughed at that she told me “I knew that’s when I want to be around this guy forever.”
In the video, Lena rubs her bare feet all over his chest in the bathtub. Just a little trick she picked up working with Quentin Tarantino! I hope Lily Collins is ready to take it all off and show us her tiny fused together doll feet as Polly Pocket in Lena’s upcoming big-screen directorial debut.
