Carole Baskin Is Suing To Prevent The Release Of Netflix’s “Tiger King 2”
Carole Baskin, breakout star of the 2020 Netflix docuseries Tiger King. Big cat enthusiast. Living meme. Floaty statement blouse aficionado. Suspect in the disappearance of her husband. And now, the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed against the world’s largest streaming series. Carole has sued Netflix, the company responsible for launching her into the heights of pop culture notoriety known only by those relevant enough to dance amongst the stars. And it’s because Carole doesn’t want a single frame of her face to appear in Tiger King 2, which is scheduled to drop on Netflix sometime this month.

It’s a good thing Nicolas Cage was probably going to use his own wardrobe anyway for his portrayal of Joe Exotic in the series for Amazon that was announced last year. Variety reports that that project has been cancelled so Nic will just have to find another excuse to bust out the sequin blouses and leather fringe. Unfortunately they didn’t make an appearance at last night’s premiere of his latest movie Pig. Nic kept things shockingly demure when he and his 5th wife, 26-year-old Riko Shabata, made their red carpet debut as man and wife. I don’t know which is more shocking, that he dressed like a normie, or that he has managed to stay married for 4 whole months! He even washed and pressed his good rug for the occasion. It must be true love.

Last March, right at the beginning of this cursed pandemic, everybody and their mother was, like, totally obsessed with Netflix’s Tiger King. Even though it featured tales of ghastly animal abuse. Hey, we were hard up! More than fifteen months later, NBC is shooting their adaptation of the docuseries in Australia. This is the TV series that stars John Cameron Mitchell as Joe Exotic, Kate McKinnon as Carole Baskin, Kyle MacLachlan as her husband Howard Baskin (not the dead one, the alive one), and Dean Winters as Jeff Lowe. And now Page Six has on-set pics of John in full Joe Exotic drag, smooching an unnamed male character in front of a pet shop. There doesn’t appear to be any meth in the scene they’re filming, but it’s safe to assume it’s there.
PETA Wants An Investigation Into Doc Antler’s Zoo After Larsa Pippen Paid A Visit To It
Doc Antle was featured in the Tiger King docu-series, and in it, Joe Exotic, who is serving 22 years in prison putting a hit out on Carole Baskin, accused Doc of killing tigers in gas chambers to make room for further breeding. Doc has also been hit with dozens of violations from the US Department of Agriculture for mistreating animals. And now, TMZ says that PETA is coming for Doc and wants the USDA to open an investigation. It seems what tipped them off was a picture of Larsa Pippen, former Real Housewife of Miami and ex-friend of the Koven, in a pool with tigers. And PETA isn’t specifically mad that the tigers were abused by being forced to pose with Larsa Pippen, but they are mad that tigers have been forced to pose with the public, which is something the USDA warned Doc about years ago.

“Tiger King” Joe Exotic Thinks He’s Close To Getting A Presidential Pardon
Earlier this year, Tiger King‘s Joe Exotic was convicted for trying to have his rival Carole Baskin assassinated and for several wildlife violations. He was sentenced to 22 years in prison and now thinks that he’s about to be pardoned. But he also thought he could sue the government for millions of dollars while in jail, so… His lawyer, Eric Love, spoke with ABC News and apparently, Donald Trump could pardon Joe on his way out of office. Well, since the American government has been one long reality show, Trump freeing Joe Exotic would make for a fitting series finale.
