“Tiger King” Joe Exotic Thinks He’s Close To Getting A Presidential Pardon

Earlier this year, Tiger King‘s Joe Exotic was convicted for trying to have his rival Carole Baskin assassinated and for several wildlife violations. He was sentenced to 22 years in prison and now thinks that he’s about to be pardoned. But he also thought he could sue the government for millions of dollars while in jail, so… His lawyer, Eric Love, spoke with ABC News and apparently, Donald Trump could pardon Joe on his way out of office. Well, since the American government has been one long reality show, Trump freeing Joe Exotic would make for a fitting series finale.

Back in September, Joe Exotic reached out to President Trump about a pardon, telling Trump how much he admired him. But we knew that Joe loves orange-haired beasts. Well, a source spoke with ABC News and confirmed that the White House has been getting flooded from people asking to be pardoned. And yes they had “heard from the Tiger King.” And you wouldn’t believe who else.

“You wouldn’t believe the amount of calls, some insane, we’ve gotten.”

But Eric is very confident that Joe Exotic (real name: Joseph Maldano-Passage) is going to be sashaying his saggy eyebrows out of lockup very soon:

“We are waiting on the pen to hit the paper, we think we are very, very close.”

The White House did not comment. Well, they are busy with last-minute pardons. Trump just gave one to former national security adviser Michael Flynn who pleaded guilty to charges from the Mueller investigation. And Trump’s reportedly asked about how to pardon his kids; Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump, his son-in-law Jared Kushner and of course good ole’ Rudy Giuliani.

Well, if Joe does get out I’m sure it won’t be long until he’s back in jail. You know the first thing he would do would be lead a one-man assault on his zoo in Oklahoma which they gave to Carole Baskin. He would break a tiger out of there and ride it into the streets.
