As anyone who has watched The View in the past four years knows, Meghan McCain speaks with the kind of drunk-on-hubris authority that makes you think the only time her mouth could utter the words, “I’m sorry” is if they were immediately followed by the words, “…but do you know who I am?“. And yet Meghan has recently issued an apology after getting publicly called out by John Oliver in a TV segment about the rise in anti-Asian and anti-Asian American racism.

Even after Donald Trump was officially evicted from the White House, we’re still talking about Donald Trump, and as anyone with a conspiracy-loving Facebook-dependent aunt knows, there are still people out there who are firmly on Team Trump. To the surprise of many, Meghan McCain might have let it slip that she’s one of them. Or at the very least, she didn’t check her words before they left her mouth.

But that wasn’t going to happen, because Meghan’s leave from The View was just a temporary one. Meghan was on maternity leave after giving birth to her daughter, Liberty Sage. And after three months away, Meghan was set to come back on January 4th. You would think that Meghan was itching to return to her happy place (aka fighting with Joy Behar), but returning put a ton of stress on Meghan.

Not only did she finally learn that maternity leave is an important part of child-rearing after having a baby herself, but she also got dragged by both Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar one day after the other.
CBS Is Reportedly Panicking Over “The View” Seriously Beating “The Talk” In Ratings
The Talk and The View may seem like similar shows: women from different backgrounds chatting about daily events and bullshit. But The View goes balls deep into politics while The Talk doesn’t and that could be why The View is absolutely thrashing its competition. Page Six says that CBS is in panic mode and insiders say the show is at risk of cancellation after The Talk‘s audience dropped to half that of The View. Speaking as a View viewer, hate-watching Meghan “My Father” McCain is one helluva drug.
Meghan McCain Gave Birth To A Baby Girl
It feels like the end of September has turned into The Month All The Celebrity Babies Came Out or Showed Up. And joining the club is Meghan McCain’s baby, an ultra-patriotic baby that one could probably assume was delivered by a bald eagle that did 6 years of med school, and a “nurse” that’s actually just two hunting rifles in a pair of Republican elephant-print scrubs.
