Pete Davidson, Who Might Be One Of Several Exiting Cast Members, Dragged Chrissy Teigen On “Saturday Night Live”

May 24, 2021 / Posted by:

Stay cool” isn’t just a cute suggestion on Pete Davidson’s sweatshirt. When Pete dropped by the Weekend Update desk on the season finale of Saturday Night Live, he delivered a joke about Chrissy Teigen that was so ice cold, the logo on his sweatshirt could double as a promise. And previously when Pete has cracked a joke about real people, they sometimes get upset enough that Pete is then forced to deliver an awkward on-air mea culpa about it next to the person he dragged for laughs. But if internet rumors and speculation turn out to be correct, then we’ll never see Chrissy forcing a smile as she accepts a live apology from Pete next season. Because Saturday’s show was the final episode of the 46th season, and sources believe it was the end of Pete’s tenure as a cast member. And joining him might be Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, and Kenan Thompson.

Here’s A Promo Video For Elon Musk’s “Saturday Night Live” Episode

May 7, 2021 / Posted by:

The only thing worse than a billionaire is a thirsty billionaire, and Elon Musk is the richest, thirstiest one the world has ever known. And you can’t tell him nothing! Least of all “no.” And so, as we know, he’ll be hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend. As such, SNL has released a promo clip for the show which features musical guest Miley Cyrus, who similarly can’t be told nothing. Only thing is, Miley can pull it off. Elon, well Elon is so stiff, his fresh-out-the-box leather jacket still has creases in it.

For Some Reason, Elon Musk Will Host “Saturday Night Live,” And Some Of The Cast Might Not Be Too Excited About It

April 26, 2021 / Posted by:

Over the weekend, it was revealed that billionaire car salesman Elon Musk would be hosting an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live, which makes almost zero sense to anyone familiar with the concept of the show. Because SNL is a live sketch comedy show, and one could argue that Elon is only funny in an accidental way. But still, we don’t know what was running through Lorne Michaels’ head when he decided that Elon Musk was qualified to host on May 8. Among those seriously questioning Lorne’s judgment might be a few people who could possibly have to act opposite Elon in sketches.

The Secret Service Confirmed That John Mulaney Was Investigated Over Jokes On “Saturday Night Live”

January 20, 2021 / Posted by:

Back in early December, during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, John Mulaney revealed he’d been investigated by the Secret Service over a joke he made on the February 29, 2020 episode of Saturday Night Live.

In his open monologue, 38-year-old John said that Julius Caesar was such a powerful maniac that all his senators stabbed him to death. Then he added: “That would be an interesting thing if we brought that back.” Now, John insisted his joke was about Caesar, not Trump, but said the feds opened a file on him anyway. And yesterday Rolling Stone actually got their hands on that file (27 pages!) from the Secret Service.

Colin Jost Was Tricked Into Making A Joke About Scarlett Johansson On “Saturday Night Live”

December 21, 2020 / Posted by:

There’s an annual holiday tradition at Saturday Night Live, in which Colin Jost and his Weekend Update co-host Michael Che will write jokes for each other, in secret, then force each other to perform said jokes live, with no prior knowledge of what they might be reading off their cue cards. Personally, I’d rather my co-worker surprise me with a cheese plate, but a gift is a gift. Usually, the jokes are made at the expense of the other in an embarrassing way, like Colin Jost writing a joke for Michael Che which implied he’s been fucking Sanderson sisters-levels of women (as you’ll see). But this year, Colin’s wife of two months was dragged into the cringefest as well.

After Getting Cut For Breaking COVID Rules, Morgan Wallen Has Been Re-Booked On “Saturday Night Live”

November 25, 2020 / Posted by:

Morgan Wallen can start shining up his best bolo tie and getting out the good mullet mousse because he’s finally gonna hit the Saturday Night Live stage. But please Morgan, don’t celebrate this good news by popping bottles with 40 to 50 of your closest friends. That’s what got you booted from the show the first time, remember?
