Open Post: Hosted By Bowen Yang Saying That Faye Dunaway Wants To “Confront” Him On “SNL” About His Instagram Handle
On Instagram, the handle @fayedunaway belongs to Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang, a man who is most certainly not the iconic actress Faye Dunaway. Bowen is blue check certified, so it’s pretty common knowledge by now that he swiped Faye’s name before 81-year-old Faye could figure out if an Instagram is a same-day graham cracker delivery service or not. That doesn’t mean Faye is totally in the dark about what is happening with Bowen’s handle. Bowen recently revealed that the jig is up, and Faye wants some public closure on this situation.
A few months ago, it was rumored that five major cast members were done with Saturday Night Live, and wouldn’t be returning for the show’s upcoming 47th season. Those five cast members included: Pete Davidson, Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and Kenan Thompson wouldn’t be back. All of them had moments in the season 46 finale that kind of made it seem like they were saying goodbye. But the internet gossips were wrong. As it turns out, SNL will be losing Beck Bennett instead. Pete, start lifting weights and guzzling protein shakes – someone needs to pick up the shirtless slack left vacant by Beck’s absence.
For Some Reason, Elon Musk Will Host “Saturday Night Live,” And Some Of The Cast Might Not Be Too Excited About It
Over the weekend, it was revealed that billionaire car salesman Elon Musk would be hosting an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live, which makes almost zero sense to anyone familiar with the concept of the show. Because SNL is a live sketch comedy show, and one could argue that Elon is only funny in an accidental way. But still, we don’t know what was running through Lorne Michaels’ head when he decided that Elon Musk was qualified to host on May 8. Among those seriously questioning Lorne’s judgment might be a few people who could possibly have to act opposite Elon in sketches.
Many-nippled wonder Harry Styles was the musical guest and host of this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live, and he wasn’t bad, which is saying a lot considering what usually happens when non-actors host that show. Harry also found time to shade his old One Direction group member, Zayn Malik, in his opening monologue, and inspired many to fill Sara Lee’s Instagram comments with thirstiness. But they’re cool with it.
