Um, the last time I checked, it seemed like Morgan Wallen and Travis Scott were doing a pretty good job of getting un-cancelled on their own. Previous public N-word user Morgan Wallen began crawling his way out of the cancel hole after he won Album of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards in March. Travis Scott has been staging his “comeback” after 10 people died at his Astroworldshow, and he became the recipient of numerous lawsuits, including his latest lawsuit from a woman who says that her injuries during the trampling led to her miscarrying her child.
But in Diddy’s mind, these two poor young misunderstood souls are laboring under the weight of their permanent status as societal pariahs. So Diddy wants to play Captain Save-A-Cancelled-Ho for Morgan and Travis, and he’s doing whatever he can to re-integrate them back into showbiz. Even though they both have kind of already done that themselves.

But apparently, Justin Bieber was only familiar with the Morgan Wallen of before, and now Justin is sorry for gushing over Morgan on Instagram.

Morgan Wallen is the 28-year-old country singer who got booted from Saturday Night Live because he was a Covidiot and then got booted from everything else because he got caught slinging the N-word casually with his friends. Morgan is now in damage control mode and during an interview with Michael Strahan for Good Morning America, he talked about how he’s learned so much and what the N-word means to him, or whatever. He explained his use of the word as “playful.” So I think we all can expect his next album to be called Playful Racism: An Apology to Black People.

The country singer who was introduced to the world as “That guy who got booted from SNL for kissing random strangers during a global health pandemic,” and became “That guy who got booted from numerous radio stations for casually saying the n-word.” You can add another thing to the list of places Morgan Wallen has found himself booted from, and that’s the Billboard Music Awards. The ceremony is scheduled to be held on May 23rd, and if you were hoping to tune in and see Gen-Z’s Billy Ray Cyrus, you’ll be sorely disappointed, because he absolutely will not be there.
