The Questionable Choices Of The Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet
The Teen Choice Awards always draws a perplexing crowd of adults and very few actual teens. And the adults these unseen teens have chosen this year only reaffirms the stereotype that teens make questionable choices. And judging from some of these blue carpet looks, it’s not just the teen’s choices we should be questioning. Taylor Swift was awarded the first ever Teen Choice Icon award, and possibly a cease and desist letter from Barbra Eden for stealing her look. What else can I say, one day she looks like Pollyanna, the next day she looks like a rich older lady sitting at a bar in The Forum at Caesar’s Palace working on her fourth whiskey sour and her third husband. Nikki Bella And John Cena Have Broken Up Again
True love is dead. Well it is for Nikki Bella and John Cena. A bunch of other celebrities seem to still be in love but I’m sure they’ll be joining Nikki and John in Splitsville any day now.
People is reporting that the most romantic thing to happen in a wrestling ring (at least on camera) has come to a slow, sad, and totally not scripted conclusion. There’s been a development in the Nikki Bella/John Cena relationship, y’all! Everyone’s favorite soap opera with fists–WWE–is known for it’s high-octane drama and Rupaul-level theatrics, but we often forget what keeps the whole machine running: it’s heart.
Previously we’ve seen the two break off their engagement; we learned it was because John really hated the idea of babies or marriage; and then we saw John make a very public announcement of his continued love for her, which she was, like, totally stunned about! The totally real drama continues!
