Meghan Markle Filed Court Papers To Stop The Daily Mail From Publishing The Names Of Her Friends Who Spoke To People Magazine
Last year, five of Meghan Markle’s close friends anonymously came forward to “speak the truth” about their friend for a People magazine cover story. The truth being that Meghan is awesome. This was a couple months before Meghan gave birth, and the sources voiced their concerns about how the “global bullying” was affecting her and her unborn child. They also spilled pro-Meghan tea on her daily life, family drama, and what a selfless buddy she is.
Now The Daily Mail, the Snidely Whiplash of British tabloids, is threatening to release the friends’ names. In response, Meghan’s legal team has filed an application to stop them. Reminder that Meghan’s lawsuit against Associated Newspapers (the publisher of The Mail On Sunday and The Daily Mail), over a private letter between her and her father being published, is still ongoing.

The Harvey Weinstein Verdict Is In: Guilty Of Third Degree Rape And Criminal Sexual Act
Harvey Weinstein‘s slow destruction has come to end, in New York anyway. Harvey was on trial in New York for predatory sexual assault, first and third-degree rape, and for a criminal sex act. He’s been hobbling into court with a walker and now we know if his sad, frail, could-never-rape-anyone act, I mean, totally real back pain suffering got him some sympathy from jurors. And it may have, because WTF. Last week, the jury let the judge know they were hung on two predatory sexual assault charges, unlike Harvey who no one would describe as hung. The judge told them to keep deliberating. And now the verdict is in and he’s been found guilty of criminal sexual act and third-degree rape and not guilty of first degree rape or the predatory sexual assaults.
Dina Lohan Could Face 6 Months In Jail For Her DWI Charge
After her DWI arrest last week, prosecutors want to throw the book at Dina Lohan. Thank god she is immune to books. Dina had a court date today and Page Six reports that if prosecutors have their way, Dina will spend up to 6 months in jail with 5 months probation. And that’s them being generous and only if she agrees to plead guilty. This is a felony charge she’s facing since it’s not her first offense. Dina’s accused of “drunkenly fleeing“ the scene after t-boning another car in the parking lot of an Outback Steakhouse. Dina was chased down by the person whose car she hit as well as the cops, and later refused to take a sobriety test after falling on her face (though she claims the arresting officer pushed her). The good news is her lawyer talked to the judge today, and the judge agreed to adjourn her case for a month so they can look into treatment programs. Which is very generous of Dina because Dina’s daughter Lindsay Lohan knows a lot of very important people who know how to make problems disappear.
