Joss Whedon Denies The Misconduct Allegations Against Him From Ray Fisher And Gal Gadot

January 17, 2022 / Posted by:

Alleged shitbag and writer/director Joss Whedon talked to New York Magazine in an article titled: “Hollywood’s fallen feminist nerd King struggles to explain himself.” I think that last part is highly accurate since this interview is a struggle and sees Joss explaining cutting Ray Fisher‘s role in Justice League because Ray is a bad actor, and says Gal Gadot only thought he was threatening her career because English isn’t her first language. Leave it to Joss Whedon to come off like an asshole while defending the allegations that he’s an asshole.

Ben Affleck Really, Really Didn’t Like Working On “Justice League”

January 10, 2022 / Posted by:

This would likely explain why Ben Affleck looked like he would rather spend 90 minutes on the phone with Dunkin’ Donuts customer service support over a glitchy DD Perks Rewards card than do one more promotional appearance for Justice League back in 2017. Even if you haven’t seen Justice League, you likely know that Ben Affleck played Batman, and it wasn’t too long after he took off his rubber Batman suit that he started putting out vibes that he really didn’t want to do it. Ben recently made it known that it wasn’t just the whole Batman thing he wasn’t feeling; the whole experience of filming Justice League was off for a number of reasons, which made for one of the worst working experiences he’s ever experienced.

Gal Gadot Says She Was Shocked At How Joss Whedon Spoke To Her On The Set Of “Justice League”

October 19, 2021 / Posted by:

Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman, a superhero as beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, strong as Hercules, and swift as Hermes. Joss Whedon is Toxic Asshole, a filmmaker who allegedly mistreated Gal, Ray Fisher, Charisma Carpenter, Michelle Trachtenberg, his ex-wife Kai Cole, and many others. The Gal vs. Joss story goes like this: on the set of 2017’s Justice League, Gal didn’t like how Joss had written Wonder Woman in his revised script. She told him her concerns, and he responded by trying to turn Wonder Woman-director Patty Jenkins against her (snort) and threatening her career. Gal confirmed this version of events in May and added that she “handled it on the spot” by reporting his ass to Warner Bros. Now, in a new interview with Elle Magazine, Gal is sharing that she was “shocked” at how Joss spoke to her, and she was “shaking trees as soon as it happened.” Trees full of coconuts that hopefully bonked Joss’ giant melon-head.

Regé-Jean Page Passed On $50K Per Episode Of “Bridgerton”, And He Wasn’t Cast As Superman’s Grandfather Because Of His Race

April 7, 2021 / Posted by:

Two, count ’em, TWO Regé-Jean Page headlines today. This pretty man is taking over! First up is more details about his Bridgerton departure. The Hollywood Reporter claims that Regé-Jean was offered 3 to 5 episodes as a guest star in the second season, and they would’ve paid him $50,000 an episode. But, still, he declined.

Headline #2 has to do with the DC Universe. Yesterday The Hollywood Reporter published a Ray Fisher interview that detailed all the asshole Joss Whedon/racist fuckery on the set of The Justice League. It included multiple allegations of racism against DC co-chairman Geoffrey Johns, including the fact that he didn’t want Regé-Jean to play the lead role of Superman’s grandfather on SyFy’s Krypton TV series because of his race. He didn’t think Superman’s gramps should be Black. Geoff’s rep defended him to THR, saying “he believed fans expected the character to look like a young Henry Cavill.” So they went with Cameron Cuffe, a white actor.

The Hollywood Reporter Published More Details Of Joss Whedon’s Alleged Asshole Behavior On The Set Of “The Justice League”

April 6, 2021 / Posted by:

Joss Whedon is a dick. At least according to most people who’ve worked for him. Ray Fisher was the first brave soul to sound the alarm after Joss directed him in Justice League, and Gal Gadot eventually admitted that her experience on that set “wasn’t the best one.”

Now Ray has given his first sit-down interview to The Hollywood Reporter. Rays talks about general racist bullshit on set, how Joss didn’t care about his opinion as a Black actor playing a Black character, and how the Warner Bros. investigation let the top execs off the hook. He declined to get into the details of Gal vs. Joss, but other sources say that Gal and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins “went to battle” with Joss over the direction of the character. The sources claim that Joss said that Gal should just “shut up and say the lines”, and that he could hurt her career. Hmmm, I wonder if Joss will ever make good on that threat?
