Open Post: Hosted By Keke Palmer Not Knowing Who Scully And Mulder Are Either

Keke Palmer famously did not recognize former Vice President Dick Cheney in a Vanity Fair lie-detector test that immediately became a meme and gave birth to the phrase“Sorry to this man” was born! But Keke actually doesn’t know lots of other people either. In a new VF segment promoting her Jordan Peele movie, Nope, which seems to be about aliens, Keke is clueless about the alien-investigation duo from the 90s, The X Files‘ Scully, and Mulder. “Sorry to this man,” it’s time to meet your new baby sibling: “And who the Hell are they?”
Daniel Kaluuya’s “Life Strategist” Heir Holiness Denies Making Him Fire His Hollywood Team

Earlier this month we heard that people in Hollywood were worried that Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya is being controlled by a “life strategist” who goes by Heir Holiness and considers herself a “spiritual gangster.” Heir, whose real name is Vanylla Samilah Mahmoud, and Daniel reportedly met through a makeup artist on the set of Black Panther. So the Sunken Place has been calling out to Daniel since at least 2018ish. And since then, it’s been alleged that Heir calls the shots in Daniel’s career and life and forced him to fire most of his team. But Heir took to Instagram to deny that.
People Are “Concerned” About How A Life Strategist Named Heir Holiness Is Calling The Shots In Daniel Kaluuya’s Life And Career

Hold on to your butts because this one is kind of weird. Acclaimed actor Daniel Kaluuya of Judas and the Black Messiah and Black Panther fame is supposedly under the influence of a life strategist who goes by the name Heir Holiness. She has been known to describe herself as “a spiritual gangster serving a life sentence in a human body” Uh, what? I thought the Brits were supposed to be the level-headed ones. The curse of Hollywood has struck again! So yeah, Get Out isn’t only the name of a movie that Daniel is in, it’s also what “insiders” are supposedly screaming at him over his relationship with Heir Holiness!
The Hostless, Pre-Taped, History-Making SAG Awards Happened Last Night

And it didn’t make history because it was the first time everyone in the audience and the viewers at home said the words, “Wow, what an enjoyable and short award ceremony!“. I’m sure some people said that, due to the fact that the SAG Awards clocked in at a tight 60 minutes, as promised. And there was no doubt a lot of people appreciated that a pre-taped show cut out the middle man (the middle man being a long-winded acceptance speech that begins with at least 9 full seconds of folded paper fumbling). But the big news was that for the first time in SAG Awards history, all four film acting categories went to non-white nominees. Like the category for Female Actor in a Leading Role – Motion Picture, which went to Viola Davis, seen above freaking out from the comfort of her own couch.
Lakeith Stanfield Also Doesn’t Know Why He Was Nominated For A Best Supporting Actor Oscar

One of the biggest questions surrounding this year’s Academy Awards, besides, “How much of a potential mess will this in-person ceremony be?“, is “Who does the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences think is the star of Judas and the Black Messiah?” Because both Lakeith Stanfield and Daniel Kaluuya were nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category on Monday morning. And after the initial excitement wore off, Lakeith Stanfield stood there and shook his head over the confusion of him ending up in the Best Supporting Actor category.
Daniel Kaluuya Wasn’t Invited To The “Get Out” Premiere

Way back in 2017, the Jordan Peele-directed film Get Out became a monster sleeper hit, grossing $255 million worldwide on a $4.5 million budget. The film’s lead, British actor Daniel Kaluuya, was nominated for a bunch of awards, including a Best Actor Oscar. Since then he’s starred in Black Panther, Widows, and Judas and the Black Messiah (for which he’s just been nominated for a Golden Globe).
So yeah, Daniel’s a big deal. But it wasn’t always that way, at least according to a story he shared on The Graham Norton Show. Daniel told Graham that he was obviously really excited to attend the Sundance surprise world premiere of Get Out. He was shooting Black Panther at the time and asked for time off, assuming that he’d get an invite, cuz, you know, he’s the film’s star. But… no invite came. Ruh-roh. Did someone fuck up? Or was he purposely ignored? Either way, Daniel was hurt.
