There’s a brand new teaser for her CBS special Adele: One Night Only, and it features clips of the Brit crooning in front of LA’s Griffith Observatory plus a quick glimpse of the accompanying Oprah interview. The main takeaway is that both ladies are dressed like they’re about to burst into “You Don’t Own Me!” with Diane Keaton.
In other news, the full “30” tracklist has dropped ahead of the album’s November 19 release. Songs include future white girl drinking anthem called, “I Drink Wine,” a second version of Adele’s hit single “Easy On Me” featuring country/bluegrass star Chris Stapleton, and a track titled, “Wild Wild West.” Pleeease tell me it’s a cover of the 1999 Will Smith ft. Adele Did Vogue’s “73 Questions” And Showed Off A Wad Of Celine Dion’s Used Chewing Gum
Nobody is ever going to accuse Adele of not doing enough to promote her 4th studio album, 30. In addition to appearing on both the British and American covers, Adele did the 73 Questions thing for Vogue and even though he wasn’t anywhere in the vicinity (as far as we know, he might have been lurking in the bushes wearing that horny mouse costume), James Corden still managed to wriggle his way into the spotlight! Adele says that James, who is a producer on her upcoming concert special for CBS, gifted her with her most prized possession — a piece of Celine Dion’s ABC gum, framed, that he had her spit into a piece of paper after she appeared on Carpool Karaoke. Adele showed off the gift about 70 questions in, just as I had been lulled into passivity by her low, dulcet voice and languid, slow-blinking eyelashes. Took me right out of it, almost as if a giant mouse jumped out in front of my car and started humping my side mirror.

After having been through a divorce, I think a lot of people are counting on Adele to make them feel something, anything, other than the abject terror and grief that’s marked the past couple of years. At this point, a little good old-fashioned conventional heartbreak comes as a relief. And Adele is poised to deliver with her latest album 30, the first single of which, Easy on Me, is already being practiced by sad drunks in the mirror who are ready to absolutely kill it the minute karaoke comes back. And by “kill it” I mean send everybody in the joint who came for a good time to the bathroom and then to the bar to get another drink. In the meantime, the sad drunks can get their fix with an upcoming prime-time concert special and exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey. So sad drunks rejoice! Normally this is a time to let everyone know “Yes, I have new music, you will be sad and I will get richer,” because interviews lead to tour dates and more checks. However, since I never took Adele as the type to start wars with other celebrities, I was shocked to find out that she started an unintentional beef with fellow British bad bitch Peppa Pig. And it all started during one of Adele’s IG Lives where she basically slapped down the idea of ever working with Peppa.

Adele is back with her new single which is going to absolutely DOMINATE easy-listening stations and waiting rooms the world over for the next decade to come. Easy On Me is easy on the ears, almost too much so but I’m not here to drag Adele music since that is against the law of the internet. And also I’m fully aware that as soon as I learn the lyrics, I will be scream crying this song in my car about a relationship I’ve never even had (Chris Evans needs to stop playing me piano through my phone!).
