Not Everyone Was Feeling Singer Tems’ View-Blocking Oscars Look

March 13, 2023 / Posted by:

I feel bad for whoever had the unfortunate placement of sitting behind Nigerian singer and nominee Tems at the Oscars because whenever she purchased her outfit, her first thought must have been, “Stretch your neck bitches!” I’m not sure if this was her first time at the ceremony, but I can guarantee you it will be her last time sitting anywhere close to the front since her IDGAF gown is now causing mixed reactions over on Twitter. And some people think her fashion choice was a good idea, while others believe she should have won the award for Best Vision Blocking Vestment.

Nicole Kidman Went Viral For Her Sexy Oscar Posing And Reaction To Host Jimmy Kimmel

March 13, 2023 / Posted by:

Nicole Kidman has been nominated for five, count ’em, FIVE Oscars. She won Best Actress once for her performance as a woman with a fake nose in The Hours (2003). But, last night, Nicole was just a presenter, so the stakes were considerably lower. She could channel all her energy into giving us fierce, slutty glamour on the red champagne carpet in her black, one-shoulder Armani Privé dress. And so she did! The Independent reports that Nicole’s dramatic poses went viral, with the kids on Twitter saying she was “THAT bitch”, and “serving absolute cunt”. Ya hear that, Nicole? You’re a bitch and a cunt! Angela Bassett Gets Love From Fans After Her Reaction To Losing The Best Supporting Actress Oscar Goes Viral

March 13, 2023 / Posted by:

Everything Everywhere All At Once seriously slapped down its competition last night (and not in a Will Smith kind of way) by cleaning up at the Oscars. It added to its awards show haul with Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director (for The Daniels, Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Best Original Screenplay (The Daniels), Best Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Best Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan), Best Film Editing, and Best Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis), for a grand total of seven wins. But while some wins for EEAAO were a shoo-in (Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor), others didn’t seem as much of a lock. Going into last night’s Oscars, it seemed that the Best Supporting Actress win was going to go to either Angela Bassett (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Jamie Lee Curtis (EEAAO), or Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin). Jamie Lee, of course, got the Oscar. And Angela Basset’s reaction to losing out on another Oscar got attention with some feeling for her, while others called her “rude.” And yes, those “others” should remember their diss tweets for when they get to the Gates of Heaven and are locked out due to daring to drag THEE Angela Bassett.

Jimmy Kimmel Addressed THE SLAP In His Oscars Opening Monologue

March 13, 2023 / Posted by:

For anyone hoping there would be a repeat of last year’s slap-happy Academy Awards ceremony, I’m sorry to disappoint you. It was just as stale as it’s always been for the past nine decades. Well, that’s what I’m assuming because I didn’t watch that mess. However, I wish I could have at least caught Jimmy Kimmel‘s opening monologue in real time because he skewered most of the people in that room like they were on the menu at Benihana. But it was what he had to say about Will Smith‘s infamous pimp slap to Chris Rock‘s face that ironically left a sting across Will‘s face as he watched from the comfort of his own home like the rest of y’all.

Michelle Yeoh Is The First Asian Woman To Win A Best Actress Oscar

March 13, 2023 / Posted by:

It’s Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh, now, bitches! Back in 2001, Halle Berry became the first woman of color to win Best Actress for Monster Ball, and last night, she took a trip down memory lane and presented 60-year-old Michelle as the second woman of color to win the award. Luckily for all of us, Halle has more restraint than Adrien Brody had with her, and she didn’t make out with Michelle against her will after the win.

Lady Gaga Stopped To Help A Fallen Photographer On The Oscars Red Carpet And Later Gave A Stripped-Down Performance Of Her Song From “Top Gun: Maverick”

March 13, 2023 / Posted by:

Lady Gaga could actually be truly happy for all of the “Best Actress” nominees at last night’s 2023 Oscars since she didn’t get to sport a cumbersome accent in any 2022 films that would get her that nom. But, her grueling campaign to grab an acting Oscar will probably continue as soon as the sequel to Joker, Folie à Deux, hits the can. However, she was able to get some attention last night when she rushed to help a photog who busted his ass on the “champagne carpet” as she walked by. And she performed “Hold My Hand,” the song she and BloodPop created for Top Gun: Maverick; which was nominated for “Best Original Song.” Though she didn’t snag the trophy, her performance did receive buzz for its no frills/SANS FARDS vibes.
