Richard Dreyfuss Defends Blackface And Says The Oscars’ New Diversity Standards Make Him Want To “Vomit”
Oscar-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss–also known as “Who?” to anyone born after the year 1993–had an interview with PBS where he revealed that he absolutely abhors diversity measures in Hollywood films, specifically the ones that the Oscars have put in place for a film to be nominated for Best Picture. During his tirade, he also defended blackface–but elegant, high-brow blackface, and laments, “Am I being told I will never have a chance to play a Black man?” And I mean… what else is there to say after that? Actually, I will say: he would make a horrible Black man–not believable at all.

Jeopardy! is filled to the brim with smart people who casually know what the 16th AND 44th digits of pi are. The only version I can compete on is the kid edition, and even then, just barely. But if there’s one Achilles heel that these brainiacs all share, it’s their lack of pop culture knowledge. In news that has shocked a nation to its core, Chris Brown once again proved that society should never have given him that redemption arc after news came out that he jumped Usher. TMZ says that the incident took place at a skate rink birthday party for Chris. Presumably, Usher blew out Chris’s candles and ate the biggest birthday cake, resulting in the 34-year-old having a tantrum and trying to beat up Usher.
