Okay, but has anyone told poor Skepta this news?!
In less time than it takes a sloth to blink, we’ve gone from a story about Adele and Skepta “heating up,” to a story about Adele herself assuring everyone that she’s very much a single woman. Adele and Skepta have allegedly been a thing for about a year, and there have been a few stories about the two of them dating quietly in private. But either they want to keep things private private, or all those stories were lies, because Adele said she’s single.
Things Are “Heating Up” Between Adele And Skepta
The tattoo on Skepta’s neck reads, “FOREVER.” And I don’t know if that’s what he’s got going on with breakup soundtrack composer Adele. But we do have a bit of recent information that would lead us to believe it’s more FOREVER than TEMPORARY. A source claims that they’re definitely dating, and that things are “heating up.” As Chet Hanks weeps, “Wah gwan from the other siiiiiiide.”
Adele And Skepta Are Probably Still A Thing
Well, whoop-dee-doo, Adele and Skepta are likely still dating. 32-year-old Adele, who may have finished her long-awaited album, has been linked to the 38-year-old grime rapper for about a year. Though they’ve never publicly confirmed their relationship, there’s been lots of online flirting. Now a source is telling the Mirror that Adele spent £16,000 (about $21,000 in U.S. doll-hairs) on a gold chain for Skepta’s recent birthday, and while they’re not official, it’s getting more serious. Um, I should hope so. You don’t just spend that kinda cash on a fuck boy. Unless he’s really good at… well, you know. You knooow. Babysitting your kid!
Adele And Her Rumored Man Skepta Flirted On Instagram
We’re still talking about Adele’s drunken Instagram activity from this past weekend. Which I’m completely fine with, because I love me some drunk Instagram. And some drunk Twitter. And even drunk Facebook. What can I say, I have a problem! This time we’re dissecting a comment left by 32-year-old Adele’s rumored lovah, English grimes rapper Skepta, whom she’s allegedly been humping on since late last year.
Adele And Rapper Skepta Might Be Over
Last fall, sleuths in the British press reported that 31-year-old Adele, who had just filed for divorce from husband of two years and daddy of her baby, Simon Konecki, was maybe dating Skepta, a 37-year-old “grime” rapper (no, not the Mother Musk, grime is a British electronic hip hop genre). Both hail from Tottenham and apparently their friends were “hoping and predicting” they’d become a “great couple” one day. OK, dudes, calm them boners.
Sadly for these over-invested friends, the maybe-couple have maybe broken up. Last week Skepta released a new album, Insomnia, and some people think his songs suggest he and Adele are through. Imagine all these lyrics being rapped at you in a Cockney accent. Continue reading
Adele Might Be Dating Rapper Skepta
Earlier this year, Adele filed for divorce from Simon Konecki, her husband of two years and father of her 6-year-old son Angelo, and we all have been collectively preparing for the saddest album of all time because of it. Well, it looks like things are about to get a lot more interesting, because there’s a rumor that 31-year-old Adele is getting with 37-year-old grime rapper Skepta (who’s from her hometown).
Skepta and Adele seem to have history as she gave him a shout out on Twitter in 2016, calling him “Tottenham Boy” and adding a red rose emoji. And friends seem excited about them going on dates three years later, a pretty slow burn, but based on his shirtless Instagram pics, worth it.
