Fran Drescher, who turns 65 today (yes, that header pic is from this year), tells Entertainment Tonight that The Nanny might be getting a film adaptation. That’s right, Fran Fine is headed to the big screen, baybay! Hopefully, this idea actually pans out and doesn’t just fade into nothingness like Fran’s plans to reboot the series with Cardi B as her daughter. Actually, maybe that was a good thing. Could the eardrums of the world really handle hearing both women scream-talk “Mistah Sheffieeeeld!” at the same time? It’s a no from me, dawg!

RuPaul is a legend that has been around for a while (that sounds shady, but it’s the truth – photographs from the 90s don’t lie!) And you don’t achieve legendary status without also breaking a bunch of records. Like most hours clocked through the soft-focus filter of a camera lens, or total number of miles walked down a runway in a beaded gown while holding your breath. Rachel appeared on the digital Fall cover of Allure Magazine and shared a few shocking (by Hollywood standards) opinions about transparency in pay (it’s a good thing and helps to address the wage gap), as well the way in which stars “shop” for the red carpet. Rachel thinks the rich and famous should buy their couture instead of always borrowing it. And she came to this opinion the hard way after an incredulous Giuliana Rancic could hardly believe she bought the Gucci gown she was wearing at the 2017 Emmys with actual U.S. currency; a revelation that generated numerous headlines at the time.

Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t at the Tony Awards last weekend, but he still managed to make his presence known by live tweeting the event. That’s actually too generous. He popped off with a handful of “observations”, one of which sounded an awful lot like an “I don’t know her” joke directed towards Rachel Bloom who was working the backstage beat for the show. Turns out it wasn’t a joke. Doogie must actually suffer from prosopagnosia, because Rachel gave an interview with GQ and read Doogie for filth. But in a nice way.

Neil Patrick Harris has hosted the Tony Awards a few times, but sadly he’s forgotten all the little people upon whose heads he tap danced on his way to the top. Last night, for the second year in a row, Rachel was the backstage host at the Tonys and Neil was watching from home with his spawn and live tweeting. Neil was either suffering from soap opera amnesia or was super salty to be left out because he went in hard on Rachel with a Mariah worthy “I don’t know her”.
