Well, if you happened to catch Billie Eilish in the audience at the 2021 MTV VMAs last night, you might assume that Billie isn’t familiar with JLo’s enthusiasm for getting loud, because when JLo came out to present an award, Billie’s hands could not have been less active and her mouth more silent. Oooh, where’s that shady reality show rattlesnake noise when you need it.

Young pop star/internet troll, 22-year-old Lil Nas X, had a great showing at the 2021 MTV VMAs last night and brought out many stunts. After he stunted with his pregnancy, you’d think he’d be done, but no! Lil Nas X showed up looking like the three-way baby of Rick James, Prince, and Little Richard. Nas also performed with half-naked men and thanked “the gay agenda” when he won the night’s biggest award, Video of the Year, for Montero (Call Me By Your Name). A Jheri curl wig, half-naked men dancing in the shower, and successfully winning trophies? That’s the gay agenda!

Look, I don’t have time to sit here and list out all of Justin Bieber’s incredible contributions to the world. They are as indelible as the smiley face that graces every item of his clothing line. An innovator? Yes. Obviously. Look at the material. A humanitarian? Only the best the world has ever known. Philosopher of unmatched intellect, wit, and wisdom? Um… ok, well, now see, you got me! I thought this would be a fun way to introduce this chucklehead’s staggeringly vapid acceptance speech for winning Artist of the Year at last night’s VMAs, but Justin’s banality is simply too powerful for sarcasm.

42-year-old Kourtney Kardashian and 45-year-old Travis Barker made their red carpet “debut” at the 2021 MTV VMAs, but that’s like a popular porn star “debuting” their genitals on a red carpet: We’ve seen them already! A few times! But they strolled on the red carpet last night and caused everyone to reach for the Purell by touching tongues. And Kourtney kept the grossness going during the show when she and Megan Fox introduced Travis and Machine Gun Kelly‘s performance and called the dudes their “future baby daddies.” Travis should get that tattooed on him!

It’s been 40 years since MTV first hit the airwaves, ushering in an era of music video domination that would eventually be unceremoniously de-throned by half-hour reality television starring salon blonde drama enthusiasts, pregnant teenagers, and Jersey Shore-dwelling drunks. But in honor of MTV once being the nation’s go-to source for iconic, and oftentimes revolutionary and boundary-pushing music videos, Madonna opened last night’s 2021 MTV Video Music Awards. And she brought out a special surprise guest with her that sadly ended up completely upstaging her appearance, and that would be her fishnet-wrapped butt cheeks. Not surprising that her plus-one would be her bouncy round ass. It’s kind of her favorite accessory at the moment. Of course, Twitter was quick to light up with people who had many thoughts and opinions on Madonna’s show-opening butt moment.

It was a HOT night of attention-seeking at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards which were masks-off (this time) and gloves-off as UFC’s resident rage-aholic (which says a lot) Conor McGregor almost got into it with *checks notes* Machine Gun Kelly? You in danger, girl–Conor would have chewed that string bean twink up like a leather daddy at Folsom! But luckily security stopped it. And MGK’s girlfriend Megan Fox, was there to comfort him in an outfit which was the sex-store combo of Kim Kardashian‘s wet Met Gala look and Rose McGowan‘s completely naked 1998 MTV look.
