Alec Baldwin Claims That He’s Not Responsible For Halyna Hutchins’ Death
As teased yesterday, Alec Baldwin sat down with ABC News and George Stephanopoulos for his first one-on-one interview about the horrific death on the New Mexico set of the western film Rust, in which the gun he was allegedly just holding went off, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. What we gathered from the promo released yesterday was Alec claiming he never fired the gun (that it simply went off in his hand), that he had no idea how a live round made its way into the antique firearm, and that it was the worst day of his life. There’s more, including Alec’s choice to talk about this situation, rather than wait and save it for court, and that he doesn’t feel any guilt for what happened, because he believes it’s someone’s fault, just not his.
Daniel Baldwin Says His Brother Alec Baldwin Is Being “Scapegoated” For His Political Views In The Wake Of The “Rust” Shooting
After that bizarre impromptu press conference, Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin held on the side of the road last month to address his involvement in the death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutches, I think Alec probably realized he’s better off without his wife’s roadside assistance. So this time, instead of calling Triple E (aka Eeelaria), he’s got his least famous brother, Daniel Baldwin, defending him on something called The Domenick Nati Show saying that actors are “dumb” and therefore Alec 100% NOT GUILTY of doing anything wrong despite being the person who, albeit accidentally, aimed a gun at Halyna and pulled the trigger, causing her to die. According to TMZ, Daniel says that Alec is getting blamed for Haylna’s death because of his political views. I guess Daniel thinks that if Donald Trump can stand in the middle of 5th Ave and shoot somebody and not lose any followers, so should Alec. It’s only fair. Meanwhile, George Clooney, who lost his friend Brandon Lee to an on-set accidental shooting, seems to agree on one point at least — Alec is dumb. He blames the Rust disaster “a series of tragedies. But also, a lot of stupid mistakes.”
George Clooney Wrote An Open Letter To The Daily Mail, Asking Them To Stop Publishing Pictures Of His Kids
When it comes to famous people, some are a-ok with having their kid’s face snapped by the paparazzi (let’s just say they’re big fans of the letter K). Other famous types will gladly let people know that the only acceptable photo of their kids is one that has been pixelated so hard, it looks like a low-resolution Minecraft character. George Clooney likes seeing pictures of his kids show up in the tabloids about as much as he likes Batman & Robin: he doesn’t. And he recently wrote an open letter asking tabloid sites like The Daily Mail to stop posting pictures of his not-famous children.
Open Post: Hosted By George Clooney Admitting He Ruined Batman
If George Clooney has to apologize for anything he’s done on screen, I personally feel it should be for how dirty he did Michelle Pfeiffer’s character in One Fine Day by rudely falling asleep on her while she turbo-speed through a pre-hookup clean-up. But George is sorry for his turn as Batman, in Joel Schumacher’s 1997 film Batman & Robin. George was the Batman with the Bat-abs and the Bat-nipples. Many hated it. And George is very, very, VERY sorry for that!
Brad Pitt And George Clooney Are Shilling For Rival Coffee Companies (But Are Doing A Movie Together)
George Clooney and Brad Pitt, one of Hollywood’s all-time great friendships. Just a couple of pals with tons of things in common that help them deeply relate to each other. They’re both Best Supporting Actor Oscar winners. Both are two-time People’s Sexiest Man Alive recipients. Both are insanely rich. And, both have managed to get even richer by collecting checks for coffee commercials. Except not for the same coffee company. George and Brad are on different sides of warring coffee empires, both pledging their allegiance to different sources of bold, smooth, rich taste. But the two are about to reunite on-screen and co-star in the same film for Apple Studios. Oh, shit, whose coffee will be served on set? You can’t make them pick sides like that!
George Clooney Shares The Reason Why He Didn’t Give His Children “Weird-Ass Names”
Last decade, George Clooney became his own real-life version of Sliding Doors when he did the very Alternate Reality George Cooney thing of settling down and getting married to Amal Clooney and having twins who are now 3 years old. Even though George and Amal are celebrities, they gave their twins the very normal names of Alexander and Ella. Being famous is the reason why George and Amal picked those names because Alexander and Ella already being saddled with the pressure that comes from being very wealthy and famous.
