Blake Lively Called Out An Instagram Account For Posting A Picture Of Her And Ryan Reynolds’ Kids

There are some famous parents who barely wait to wipe the amniotic fluid goo from their child’s face before sharing them with the world. But some celebrity parents are the opposite. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, for example. An Instagram account dedicated to celebrity kids recently felt Blake’s wrath after they decided to get some likes for a picture featuring the unobscured faces of their three children.

Blake and Ryan have three daughters – James (6), Inez (5), and Betty (2) – and they’re not totally secretive with their children. They did let Blake’s good friend Taylor Swift reveal Betty’s name in a folksy song, of all places. But they’re pretty protective of their identities. There aren’t any pictures of their kids on either Blake or Ryan’s Instagram accounts, and they’ve really only brought their kids to one industry event (James and Inez joined Ryan at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony). But that doesn’t mean their kids are going into public with masquerade masks covering their faces. There are paparazzi pictures of Blake, Ryan, and their kids out there. Which is bad news for Blake and Ryan’s attempt at keeping their kids private. But great news for Instagram accounts that are devoted to posting pictures of the children of celebrities.

One such account, Hollywood Star Kids, recently posted a picture of the Lively-Reynolds family. But it’s not there anymore, because Blake called them out in the comments. And if what Blake said is the truth, then getting chewed out by Serena van der Woodsen shouldn’t have come as a surprise, because she has allegedly asked them not to post pictures of their kids in the past. via E! News:

“This is so disturbing,” Blake commented. “I’ve personally shared with you that these men stalk and harass my children. And you are still posting. You said you would stop. You personally promised me. This is not casual appreciation. This is YOU also exploiting very young children. Please. Delete. Please.”

“Some parents are ok with this,” the Gossip Girl alum continued. “We. Are. NOT.”

After Hollywood Star Kids deleted the post, Blake thanked everyone for helping her drag them for exploiting her kids’ faces in the name of increased social media engagement.

“Thank you to everyone UNFOLLOWING accounts who exploit children,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “YOU make ALL the difference. Thank you for your integrity. Thank you.”

I guess Blake and Ryan want to leave it up to their children as to whether or not they want to be famous. After which, they can feel free to introduce themselves, and subsequently, tell us all about how hard they worked to get to where they are.
