Courtney Love Dragged Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy” And Lily James
Pam & Tommy is an 8-episode series that Hulu describes as “a comedic limited series on the true story behind the release of the first ever viral video in history — the sex tape of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.” It’s filming now and stars Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee and Lily James as a shockingly accurate Pamela Anderson. Well, not everyone is as excited about Lily’s over-lined lips, razor-thin brows, buxom cleavage, and eyes so smokey you’d think it was an episode of Station 19. Courtney Love, a longtime friend of Pamela’s, took to Facebook to drag the show and Lily for deigning to re-live what for her friend was not exactly the best of times. But hey, she hasn’t seen it yet. Maybe the good television production people at Hulu won’t use a scene in the movie where Sebastian Stan rings a boat horn with his penis… okay, obviously they’re going to do that. AND THEY BETTER!
Courtney Love Says She Left Acting Because She Was Constantly Being Harassed
Usually, when you hear that a popular musician is about to make the leap into acting, there’s a pretty good chance your first response is: “Uh, you sure about that?” Because not every singer can live that Cher-in-Moonstruck experience. But Courtney Love did it, and guess what? She was actually very successful at it! Courtney appeared in a few smaller films in the 80s, but starting in 1996, she showed up in several critically-acclaimed films, which kicked off her career as a real movie star. She was even nominated for a Golden Globe, and many considered it a snub when she wasn’t nominated for an Academy Award after that. It really did look like Courtney Love had officially established herself as a singer-slash-actress, but then a couple of years later, she started showing up in fewer and fewer films. Now we’re learning that her retirement wasn’t pushed on her by Hollywood, because she reached the totally unemployable old age of 35, but because she was sick and tired of constantly getting #MeToo‘ed.

Courtney Love has gone through many phases: Kurt Cobain’s messy wife, Kurt Cobain’s grieving widow, baby doll dress rock star, glam Hollywood good girl, and cracked out chaos demon. Now, Courtney says she’s been sober for a couple of years now, and she’s been doing a lot of self-reflection on Instagram. Yesterday she posted a picture of an anonymous “happy Australian” smoking a cig and cruising around in a car adorned with the cover art for Courtney’s 2004 solo album, America’s Sweetheart. In the caption, Courtney writes that the album is one of her life’s “great shames”, along with dating Steve Coogan and getting addicted to crack. These three shames all occurred around the mid-2000s, a time Courtney says was filled with “sloppiness, men, money, drugs, nightmare…”

It’s been thirteen whole years since the iconic Trimspa Baby herself, Anna Nicole Smith, died from a drug overdose. 2007 did us dirty (it also took Tammy Faye!). I often wonder what kind of hijinks Anna Nicole would’ve gotten into in the age of social media (can you imagine those Instagram Lives?), but let’s be real… she was surrounded by pills, money, leeches (does Howard K. Stern ring any bells?), and more pills.

Courtney Love Announced That She’s 18 Months Sober
I am a truly gullible person re: substance abuse. Unless someone with an addiction formally announces “I HAVE FALLEN OFF THE WAGON” (which, um…rarely happens), I just assume they’re still sober. Yep, real sharp. Take Courtney Love. Even after all that Sam Lufti restraining order drama, the saga of Frances Bean’s ex and the guitar, and possibly ordering is MURDER (?!?!), I was still like, “Well, shit, at least my girl’s still off the bad stuff”. So color me shocked when, last fall, Courtney admitted she had relapsed into opioid addiction in 2018.

Courtney Love Denies Reports That Prince Andrew Once Paid Her An Early Morning Visit
Things are looking grim for Prince Andrew. This whole Jeffrey Epstein scandal refuses to blow over, no matter how many times he begs mummy to evoke her monarchical powers to have every last journalist and blogger who dare utters his name thrown into the Tower of London. But Andrew isn’t a complete pariah just yet. Even though he was uninvited from the opening of a new train station in Northern Ireland last week, he was allowed to get his balls close to a hole at Royal Portrush Golf Club during his state visit. And in even better news for Andrew, according to The Sun, he narrowly escaped an excruciatingly painful and embarrassing end when, by the grace of God, Courtney Love refused him access to her hole.
