King of White Women Melodrama Bravo, Andy Cohen, recently teased some of the upcoming Real Housewives content coming and it’s a lot. While Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is taking a break, it will film again next year, and there are tons of the Avengers of Housewives seasons–Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip-coming, too. Looks like there will be much more petty drama and hopefully much less behind-the-scenes racial issues and potential use of the N-word.
CNN Said They Plan To Scale Back The Drinking During Their New Year’s Eve Coverage, And Andy Cohen Responded
For those of us who refuse to wear clothes with an uncompromising waistband or leave the house past 8 p.m., we look to the TV on New Year’s Eve to watch other, more ambitious fun-havers crammed into the confines of Times Square clad in coats, hats, and adult diapers who’ve stood in the cold for 16 hours in anticipation of a few underwhelming musical guests followed by ten whole seconds of excitement. CNN’s NYE coverage has become the staple for people who love mess and don’t want to sit through Ryan Seacrest and his “group of losers;” with the master of lighting a match and walking away, Andy Cohen, getting lit with his incessantly giggly bestie, Anderson Cooper, while Don Lemon and other correspondents assist in the chaos. Last year, Andy got so rip-roaring ranty and wasted that it was rumored CNN cut him loose. But they didn’t, and he and Anderson will be back this year to host the festivities. And even though CNN says they’ve decided they’re banning booze for the correspondents involved in the coverage, Andy wants everyone to know the new rule doesn’t apply to him or Anderson, so we should expect them to be next-level hammered.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion FINALLY concluded last night with part three, and while we didn’t really get further clarification of “Biggest Bully in Hollywood” Lisa Rinna’s dramatic account of Kathy Hilton basically going so raging apeshit that she defecated in her hands and threw it at innocent nightclub-goers (my mind’s just filling in the gaps here); the legally plagued Erika Jayne did lob the accusation that Queen Kathy called the club DJ an “old fucking f-g” after he wouldn’t acknowledge her song requests–which Kathy denies.

The ten thousand-part reunion for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is still chugging along, and the last part will finally air tomorrow, but a funny thing has happened. Andy Cohen has actually apologized to Garcelle Beauvais over a moment during the reunion when she was fraught with emotion, and he just moved on to talk to Lisa Rinna about lunch. No, Andy didn’t apologize on his own. He apologized after there was a backlash. More microaggressions from Andy Cohen that NeNe Leakes can use if she reopens her lawsuit against Bravo? We’ll see!
The Cast Of “The Real Housewives Of New York City” Reboot Was Announced At BravoCon
The last season of The Real Housewives of New York City, starring Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ebony Williams, and Leah McSweeney, was such a colossal failure that there wasn’t even a screechy reunion, and the whole cast was tossed out, sending Andy Cohen and Bravo back to the drawing board to make the show watchable and reboot the whole thing. And if the fact that parts of this weekend’s BravoCon were a mess, the announcement of the all-new cast to bring the show back to life for season 14 to an already skeptical audience could be a bad omen–which, in the Bravo-verse is actually a good omen–because Bravo fans love mess.

NeNe Leakes is no longer coming after Andy Cohen and Bravo over allegations of racial discrimination and a hostile work environment. Anyone on a Real Housewives series afraid of the words “hostile” and “workplace” being used together should find other employment, but racism should never be tolerated! …Usually. After all, NeNe only filed this suit after she was booted from Real Housewives of Atlanta. And now she’s dropping the suit after negotiating with Bravo.
