NeNe Leakes Has Dropped Her “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” Racial Discrimination Lawsuit Against Bravo And Andy Cohen

NeNe Leakes is no longer coming after Andy Cohen and Bravo over allegations of racial discrimination and a hostile work environment. Anyone on a Real Housewives series afraid of the words “hostile” and “workplace” being used together should find other employment, but racism should never be tolerated! …Usually. After all, NeNe only filed this suit after she was booted from Real Housewives of Atlanta. And now she’s dropping the suit after negotiating with Bravo.

In NeNe’s lawsuit, which was filed in April, she alleged years of racial abuse at the hands of co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann and claimed that Kim’s behavior went unchecked by Bravo producers. Kim was not involved in the lawsuit cause she isn’t rich like Bravo. NeNe had previously called for a boycott of the network coincidentally after her contract for RHOA was up. NeNe was reportedly ready to go to war with Andy and his cohorts. She was even ready to call Kathy Griffin as a witness for her side because Kathy helped put Bravo on the map with My Life On the D-List and saw all the goings on from the beginning. But it seems that if Kathy wants to tear Andy a new one again, she’ll have to find another platform.

Page Six says that on Friday, NeNe filed to dismiss the case. But only “without prejudice” so she can reopen this lawsuit and sue a bitch again if she feels like it.

In the meantime, the parties involved in the case agreed to not “seek recovery of costs or attorneys’ fees,” per the documents.

The case’s conclusion comes two months after Page Six reported in June that Leakes had been in negotiations with Bravo, Cohen, 54, and NBC Universal to possibly settle their case outside of court.

The defendants previously argued that there was a stipulation in one of their existing contract agreements that any disputes between them were “subject to arbitration” in New York. The recently dismissed lawsuit was filed in Georgia.

The motion also noted at the time Leakes “disagreed” with the notion of arbitration, but that both parties were “in the process of negotiating this issue in an attempt to avoid the time and expense of a motion to compel arbitration” through their respective counsel.

Who knows if a settlement between NeNe and Bravo was reached or not, but just last month she was calling the people at Bravo “abusers” who “want power over their victims” in some cryptic social media posts. And two weeks ago she tweeted threats that were most likely meant for Andy:

“He stopped me from working because I was a threat to his career! Yet he was able to abuse me for years. I want to release these voice recordings so bad.”

So if she’s dropping her lawsuit now, she must be motivated by $omething.

If NeNe did walk away with some kind of settlement, she better hide the money since she’s still facing a lawsuit from Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh, the ex-girlfriend of her current boyfriend, for allegedly homewrecking Malomine’s relationship. Now that Malomine knows that NeNe might have more funds, she should pull an Uno Reverse on NeNe and have Andy testify as the star witness of her trial!
