Leonardo DiCaprio Brought His Girlfriend Camila Morrone To The Oscars

February 10, 2020 / Posted by:

Close your eyes and focus. Really focus. Do you hear it? That soft, high pitched noise? It’s the sound of a million fetus-age models weeping. Because last night Leonardo DiCaprio made his awards show debut with his girlfriend, actress/model Camila Morrone. This is the first time he’s brought a romantic date to an awards show since Gisele Bundchen in 2005. It was very nice of Leonardo to give the tabloids a picture of him and Camila they can use in their coverage when he dumps her in a couple of years.

Billie Eilish Had The Meme Makers Very Busy Last Night

February 10, 2020 / Posted by:

And it was all thanks to the Oscars. Last night, Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig graced us with their presence by presenting Best Production Design and Best Costume Design. During their bit while presenting the Best Costume Design Oscar, Maya and Kristen did a little song. And in the middle of their song, the camera cut to 18-year-old Billie Eilish (dressed like a twin sized mattress, thanks to Chanel) appearing to look perplexed while wondering who those old people on stage are. Which in turn, made her the biggest winner of the night by becoming a meme.

Arrest Everybody Involved In The Oscars: Luke Perry Was Left Out Of The In Memoriam

February 10, 2020 / Posted by:

The 92nd Annual Academy Awards turned into The 1st Annual Local Bong Joon-ho Appreciation Awards, and that was a very good thing. But beyond that, the ceremony was an unorganized, sloppy mess and was more confusing than my thought process while trying to follow the word salad, with a drizzling of benzos and vinegar dressing, that Renee Zellweger dribbled out. Some of the performances for the Best Original Song nominees were not announced, and so we were all left brain-burping up question marks when Randy Newman (or, “Is that Bernie Sanders in a wig?!” as my mom called him) randomly popped up on stage to sing his nominated song from Toy Story 4. But the most unforgivable moment of the messy night was Luke Perry getting left out of the In Memoriam. The devil works hard but the Luke Perry-hating Oscar producers work harder.

Eminem Performed A Song From 2002 At The 2020 Oscars

February 10, 2020 / Posted by:

Slate says that Eminem was a surprise performer at the 92nd Academy Awards last night and he was there to perform Lose Yourself, which won the Oscar for Best Original Song in 2003. Eminem’s performance got mixed reactions from the crowd. It all started when Lin-Manuel Miranda introduced a montage of songs from movies, and the montage segued into the beginning of Eminem’s Lose Yourself and then he showed up as a wave of confusion filled the theater.

About Renee Zellweger’s Best Actress Oscar Speech….

February 10, 2020 / Posted by:

To the surprise of no one following this awards season, Renée Zellweger took home the Best Actress Oscar last night. It’s her second Oscar win. Her first was for Cold Mountain in 2003, when Billie Eilish was nothin’ but a baby on her momma’s teet.

As someone who watched the Judy trailer over two whole times, I can confidently say Renée deserved the win. And even though Liza Minnelli wasn’t a fan, I think she nailed Judy Garland’s fragility and watery cow eyes. And I think she looked gorgeous in her glittery one-armed white gown. Her speech, on the other hand? Well… it definitely happened.

Brad Pitt Got Political During His Oscar Acceptance Speech For Best Supporting Actor

February 10, 2020 / Posted by:

As expected, William Bradley Pitt took home his first acting Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Surprisingly during his speech, Brad didn’t propose to Jennifer Aniston on stage and tell her that he can’t wait for their child to arrive. No, that Jennifer Aniston Redemption Tour is over now that he’s won his Oscar. Instead, Brad got political.
