During a chat with Janelle Monáe for Variety’s Actors on Actors series, Austin Butler said that he didn’t see his family for years while prepping for a role. No, Austin wasn’t doing method work to play Tom Cruise. The role he’s talking about is Elvis, of course. Austin was so deep into all things Elvis for Baz Luhrmann’s biopic that he didn’t see his family for around three years. When he eventually saw them, he couldn’t shake Elvis from his mind and talked in his Elvis voice the whole time. So do you hear that, Oscar voters? Not only did Austin put himself through pain to play The King, but he also put his family through intense pain by refusing to turn off his Elvis voice while talking to them! – Just Jared

Back in 2014, Emily Blunt co-starred in the sci-fi flick Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise, the self-proclaimed Gene Kelly of action movies. The New York Post reports that, during a recent guest appearance on the SmartLess podcast (hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett), 39-year-old Emily shares that, during filming, she freaked out about having to do stunts in her character’s 85-pound battle suit. She recalls crying and telling Tom that she wasn’t sure if she could get through the film shoot. His response surprised her. Lemme guess. He called Emily “glib,” busted out a travel-sized E-meter, audited her, slapped a “Clear” sticker on her forehead, and confiscated all her meds. Nope. Emily claims Tom told her to stop being “such a pussy.”

Not gonna lie, my initial reaction to the news that “Fluffy” comedian Gabriel Iglesias dropped $100,000 on a quinceañera for his dog was a mix of incredulity and derision. $100,000!? On a quinceañera!!?? For a dog!!!???? But that was before I saw how happy it made Risa (the pretty, pretty princess on the right), Gabriel’s elderly chihuahua, as she was paraded through the party in a tricked-out baby carriage with neon accent lights looking every bit a fairy-tail princess in one of three bespoke gowns created for the occasion. Sure, given her advanced age, it could have just been intestinal gas that caused Risa’s eye’s to pop and glitter as she soaked up the attention from the adoring crowd of well-wishers and tail-waggers instead of pure joy. But I’m pretty sure it was both.

The “Bloody Wednesday” challenge, where TikTokers attempt to recreate Jenna Ortega’s deadpan dance sequence from Netflix’s smash show, Wednesday, has been obnoxiously overrunning feeds for a bit now. Celebs and normies alike have been begging for someone, anyone to lie to them about how fun and great at dancing they are by half-heartedly attempting to hit the moves that Wednesday busted on the show to Goo Goo Muck by The Cramps. But a variation of the trend has people setting the choreography to Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga, so Mother Monster decided to give the challenge a try.
