Before she came out as a lesbian in 2002, Rosie O’Donnell had a running bit on her daytime talk show about her “crush” on Tom Cruise. She’d call him her boyfriend, the most perfect man in the world, and go on about how she wanted him to live in her house and do yard work. Hey, it was the nineties. ‘Twas the season to find Tom Cruise hot. In a recent interview on Sirius XM’s The Jess Cagle Show, Rosie says she still loves Tom and he’s never forgotten her birthday in the 25 years they’ve known each other. But she adds she’s not close enough to call him up to chat about Scientology, which she thinks is a scary cult. Love the cult leader, hate the cult. Got it!
Filming Has Shut Down On “Mission: Impossible 7” Over Several Positive COVID-19 Tests
Someone better watch their back because Tom Cruise is going to rage out of his cha-cha heels again. Back in February 2020, production on the seventh Mission: Impossible movie was shut down in Venice because of Coronavirus. Since then, Tom has made it his mission, which he chose to accept, to get that movie made. His ass was building high-tech Coronavirus-safe bunkers and he was renting cruise ships to keep people isolated. Tom was doing the most to keep the cast and crew COVID-free. And still, they tried him and after Tom witnessed crew members not socially distancing, he went off on them in a recording that was later leaked. After all that, Tommy couldn’t keep Coronavirus away, because several people working on the movie tested positive and production has been shut down again.
Tom Cruise Stands By His On-Set COVID-19 Outburst
Remember late last year when Tom Cruise flipped out on some COVID-19 protocol-breaking movie crew members? Some people applauded Tom for taking on-set social distancing and pandemic protocols seriously. Others thought he should have handled it differently, considering the power imbalance between an A-list movie star and the people who work under them. And that was all followed by suspicions that it might have all been for show, in an attempt to distract us from the real story (which will always be his connection to that allegedly awful alien-themed organization). Whatever you believe, please know that Tom Cruise stands firm in his belief that his on-set freak out was 100% justified.

Seth Rogen has a new book of essays out called Yearbook. He was on with Howard Stern to talk about it, and one of the stories in his book is about none other than Tom Cruise. The night featured Seth pissing in a bottle and talking to Tom about pharmaceuticals, which sounds like me at every live concert I’ve ever been to. But, Tom has done much better with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. He’s a seven-time Golden Globe Award nominee and three-time winner. And before today, you could probably assume those three Golden Globe Awards held a very special place on his trophy shelf. It’s pretty clear the HFPA loves Tom Cruise. They nominated him for The Last Samurai, what more proof do you need? But right now, the love isn’t mutual. Tom Cruise has joined Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Netflix, NBC, and many Hollywood publicists, by publicly dragging the HFPA and their ability to do the absolute least when it comes to diversity. Although he did it without saying a word. Tom simply returned his awards.

Instead, it was Kyra Sedgwick, who was invited to a party at Tom’s house in the early 1990s and ended up having the place surrounded by cop cars because she started randomly touching things in his house.
