Open Post: Hosted By The Time That Seth Rogen Peed Into A Bottle On Tom Cruise’s Driveway

Seth Rogen has a new book of essays out called Yearbook. He was on with Howard Stern to talk about it, and one of the stories in his book is about none other than Tom Cruise. Tom and Seth had a meeting back in the early 2000s when Tom was married to Katie Holmes and making headlines with all his Scientology weirdness. The night featured Seth pissing in a bottle and talking to Tom about pharmaceuticals, which sounds like me at every live concert I’ve ever been to. And honestly, Seth isn’t shy when it comes to piss talk, because he’d probably rather talk about than talk about enabling James Franco for years!

Entertainment Tonight Canada says while on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Seth talked about how back in the day, he had a meeting with Tom and his long-time work partner, Judd Apatow. The meeting was at Tom’s house and Seth got anxious on the way up to the mansion and had to piss in a bad way:

“I was driving up to his house. I had to pee so bad. I was nervous to meet him anyway. I didn’t want to meet him and be like, “Hi, nice to meet you. Can I pee? Can I use your bathroom?” It was going to be an awkward first interaction, so he had this really long snaking driveway leading to his house… I stopped halfway up the driveway, kind of in the woods, above Sunset Blvd., and I peed in a Snapple bottle in my car. And then I sealed the bottle and left it there.”

Why do I have a feeling that the pee-filled Snapple bottle is still in Seth’s car today!? On the way out of the meeting, Seth noticed that his golden shower show was probably caught on surveillance camera:

“As I was leaving the meeting, I was snaking back down the driveway and, as I was passing the exact spot that I peed in, I noticed a red light in the woods. And there was a security camera literally pointed exactly at where I was peeing.”

Tom also talked to Seth about Scientology and seemed ready to give him a pitch about it, saying to Seth:

“It’s like with Scientology. If you let me just tell you what it was really about… just give me like 20 minutes to, like, really just tell you what it was about, you would say, “No fucking way. No fucking way.””

Tom kept on going:

Cruise was worried about “how weird” he “looked in the press lately.”

Rogen recalled, “He said, “I think the pharmaceutical industry is making me look bad.””

According to Rogen, Apatow saved the moment by telling him, “”Eh, I think we’re good. Let’s just talk about movies and stuff.””

The next time someone says something crazy I don’t want to interact with I’m going to say. “Let’s just talk about movies and stuff.”

So, Seth pissed on Tom’s driveway and then got a load of shit from Tom when inside of the house? But even though Tom’s probably got a piss video of Seth, Seth got away easy. If he continued to listen to Tom’s bullshit about Scientology, he could find himself brainwashed and pissing in a bottle while imprisoned at Gold Base. So bullet dodged, Seth!
