I’m sure Diablo Cody is somewhere laughing her ass off (see also: replacement sucker Erin Cressida Wilson) at the news that Universal Pictures has scrapped the planned Madonna-directed Madonna biopic she attempted to help Madonna write starring Madonna-approved Madonna Julia Garner. Good thing then that after spending months alone in a room with Madonna trying to convince her that the studio won’t accept vibes in lieu of a script, Diablo knows that asses will come and go. If Diablo can’t find her original ass, she can just go out and get a new one. So it wasn’t a complete waste of her time.

Yesterday Madonna announced that she was embarking on an international tour to celebrate four decades in the music biz. The Celebration World Tour doesn’t begin until July, so until then, we’re probably going to see a lot of Madge. Today kicks things off with the reveal of Madonna’s new Vanity Fair cover/photoshoot. Billboard reports that the 64-year-old will appear in next month’s “Icon Issue” for the magazine’s French, Spanish, and Italian editions. All predominantly Catholic countries! The perfect audience for some classic maybe-excommunicated Madonna envelope-pushing. On the cover, she is a weeping Virgin Mary. Inside, she is Jesus at an all-female last supper. I don’t remember JC or the OG Madonna having so many fillers, but suspend your disbelief!

Now, imagine if we yanked Xtina offstage and substituted her deflated cakes with J. Lo’s rotund rump because she claims she was the original choice to dance alongside Madonna.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of when 64-year-old Madonna first gyrated her way into our hearts, and yes, you SHOULD feel as old as I do right now. Because whenever I think of Madonna‘s ‘Like A Virgin’ video, I say to myself, “That just came out yesterday, right?” Sure, if 14,610 days somehow equate to the actual yesterday of twenty-four hours ago. But none of that matters because the good news is Madge wants to pay homage to her longstanding career by packing up her whips, fishnets, and face fillers to hit the road for a brand new international tour titled The Celebration Tour. And with the number of millions she’s about to make, there will definitely be a whole lot to celebrate once it’s over.

Lourdes Leon Releases A Music Video For Her New Single “C*ntradiction”
Madonna‘s daughter is ready to get all the way into the music business and soak up those sweet, sweet nepotism opportunities. Lourdes Leon has released a new EP under the stage name Lolahol, called Go. Along with the release of the 5 track EP came the second single, Cuntradiction. The song and video are out and she is serving straight-up low-budget Madonna but luckily, since Lourdes is actually her daughter, I don’t think Madonna will roast her for being reductive.
