Somehow Lily James, 32, managed to carve out enough free time from her busy extra-curricular career maybe-humping shady-as-hell married men who may or may not have “arrangements” with their wives, to sport a poofy, tousled wig and get painted up into the hottest glamourpuss of our or any generation, Pamela Anderson.
That wig might come in handy on role-playing nights in the future, so hopefully Lily gets to keep it. In the meantime, it’s slated for its best life perched on top of her head while playing Pamela opposite Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee for Hulu’s high-class and extremely educational series, Pam and Tommy.
Lily James Says There’s A Lot To Say About Dominic West, But Not Right Now
Lily James recently gave an interview to The Guardian, to talk about her role in the upcoming BBC One period drama series, The Pursuit of Love. That’s the one she was working on with Dominic West, who she was seen kissing and scooting around Rome with back in October. You can’t even so much as see the words The Pursuit of Love without immediately thinking of those pictures of the very-much-married Dominic and the maybe mislead Lily. The drama continues to linger, so much that it’s been rumored that Dominic agreed to stay as far away from Lily as possible, which means no promotional duties for him. Lily is the main character, so of course she’s the one who got the Guardian interview. And of course, they asked her about that situation with Dominic. Dominic probably went out and bought the big pack of extra-absorbent kitchen towels in anticipation of this day, so he could mop up the gallon of nervous sweat gushing out of his body while worrying about what Lily might spill. But he can put them all back in storage because Lily pretty much said nothing.

Dominic West became a household name in all the worst ways last fall when he was seen kissing his The Pursuit of Love co-star Lily James in Rome. The problem with that is that Dominic is very much married to Catherine FitzGerald, a landscape artist, Irish aristocrat, and 800-year-old castle owner. Dominic and Catherine are still together, which means those pictures of him kissing his co-star clearly didn’t do nearly as much damage as they could have. Surely Dominic had to prove to Catherine that he was worth keeping around, and normally that might require some big expensive gesture, like a new car or a diamond ring. But Dominic’s wife inherited a castle, and nothing is going to top that. Instead, a thrifty Dominic presented his wife with a promise that he will stay away from Lily James forever.

Deadline is reporting that Lily James and Sebastian Stan have been cast as one of the couples that defined early-90s messy marriages, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee for a Hulu series about their relationship including the theft of their notorious nautical honeymoon sex tape.
