If you’ve been planning on buying one of those 12-foot skeletons from Home Depot to put on your lawn for Halloween, may I suggest something far more terrifying and spine-chilling? Take a gander at the Karen erected by the people of Prosser, Washington. The monstrosity was placed in front of City Hall and featured a Karen name tag as well as a shirt with the phrase “Can I speak to the manager?” emblazoned on it. There’s spooky, and then there’s downright scary! Unfortunately for this Karen, a bunch of actual Karens came for her and demanded that she be taken down. Looks like irony came to Washington.
Taryn Manning Says She Felt A “Social Responsibility” To Take The Title Role In “Karen”
I hope all those nasty people on Twitter who roasted the trailer for the movie Karen starring Taryn Manning feel bad for what they’ve said once they learn that it’s not the derivative, hastily slapped together cash-grab they made it out to be. Specific apologies are due to Taryn herself from folks who made fun of her having spent the last couple of years embodying the role she was born to play. According to Deadline, Taryn didn’t take the role for money or attention, she did it “to affect change around the globe.” Joke’s on all those haters too because that shit worked! The world has never been less racist than it is right now.

It was announced last year that newly engaged Taryn Manning will be playing the Karen of all Karens in a horror movie. Well, a trailer is out for Karen and it looks like Ma meets Obsessed meets Get Out meets a Tyler Perry original. You’ll be shocked to learn Tyler Perry had nothing to do with it. And still: IT IS A MESS. Overly-dramatic, racially-charged, logically confusing; its trailer has now been released and the BET original movie looks an absolute shoo-in for next year’s Razzies.
Madonna Tore Into An Actual Karen While Supporting Black Lives And Gun Control
Madonna’s 24-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon isn’t the only one in the family who can slap down a trick in Instagram comments. One woman named Karen decided to try Madonna in the comment section of an Instagram post about the police killing of 20-year-old Daunte Wright. Madonna called Lourdes into the room to come up with a comeback snatched that Karen like her own cape snatched her at the Brit Awards years ago.

Oh fun, another violent “Karen” video. This one went down at the Lingfield High Street Co-op grocery store in Surrey, UK, way back in May. The CCTV footage was released this week. The nightmare began when staff reprimanded a woman for ignoring the store’s one-way social distancing system (so like, the arrows on the ground). Rather than bow her head in shame and apologize, like most of us would, this lady made the interesting choice to go full-on Tazmanian Devil. She violently slammed the plastic coronavirus screen separating her and the cashiers, threw a bunch of shit, tore down two shelves of wine (RIP), then marched back to the cash, where she bashed the screen again, and screamed, “I’ve done nothing wrong!” Self-awareness: she doesn’t have it.
