“Orange Is The New Black’s” Taryn Manning Went Off On The Show And Her Co-Stars, Claims She Was Hacked

Taryn Manning, who plays Pennsatucky on Orange Is The New Black, was a no-show at the show’s final season premiere in NYC on Thursday, and claimed it’s because she was the victim of cyber terrorism (????). But People says that in a lengthy post she put up on Instagram yesterday, she blamed the show and castigated her co-stars for not caring about her. The posts have been deleted and she’s now saying that her account was hacked. It was probably Russia.

The post opened with a spiel about racism and human trafficking. And then it went into how OINTB has hurt her and no one cares about her. She doesn’t name the show or its showrunner Jenji Kohan but the only other show she’s been on lately was Hawaii 5-0 and that show shoots in Hawaii and not a dreary prison so she (or her hacker) are almost definitely talking about the prison comedy-drama.

“This show hurt me more than anything has in my life and if this is what I have to do to push what I stand for I will,” Manning continued. “I have to speak out before anything happens to me. F— fame! This show hurt humans. You will never truly know but many were hurt!”

Granted, the show tackles a lot of the unpleasant subject matter that goes on in prisons but what?

She also blames her personal team for…something.

The actress added: “I do not need to ever work again in this town. I’ve been dropped by everyone for having a backbone. I was dropped because a person terrorizes me daily and them too. So my team, they just turn away. Like a car accident. Rubber neck but don’t help. F— show biz. A disgrace.”

And Taryn went on to claim that no one from the fictional Litchfield prison has got her back.

Manning ended her caption by writing, “Not one cast member cares about me. Just watch.”

Taryn’s fellow castmember Lori Petty told Taryn she loved her in the comments, and Taryn responded by hinting that OINTB or Netflix or someone in the higher echelons of streaming television was making her life hell.

“Thx bubs I know you do,” Manning responded. “And I love you. I am giving up everything to speak on how awful this career is and how awful we are treated. How I never knew if I was coming back yet I had seven optional seasons. How I didn’t even know how to plan my life, organize anything cause everything was a secret. Self serving bulls—, for whatever sick agenda. How some of the most dear characters were just not there anymore. My pals. F— this show. This show hurt me so bad.”

Both posts were removed and Taryn posted this.

My account was so epically hacked. I am back in and I am sorry.

Her IG profile now also reads:

My account is hacked and I am sorry for these messages:( i am back in now and was able to erase!

Taryn’s most recent controversy was her voicing her displeasure over a stylist reportedly foisting a $199 dress on her to wear for last year’s SAG Awards. If she wasn’t hacked and she did have a meltdown, that could account for her mental state. Someone put her in a boring black number and her co-stars have people who can dress them up like Hello Dolly: The Pregnant Pimpin’ Ain’t Easy Years. Cheap rayon would drive anyone to paranoia and wacky accusations.
