Taryn Manning Will Play The Title Role In A New Movie About A “Karen”

Hang onto your MAGA hats, 2020. Because a truly horrific horror movie is in the works (although, you can watch the horror show happen in real-time by logging onto Twitter and going through all the Karen videos). According to TMZ, Karen is getting the Hollywood treatment, thanks to director Coke Daniels (yes, his name is Coke Daniels) and Taryn Manning who just signed on to a movie where she plays “Karen WHITE“, an amalgamation of ALL the Karens we’ve come to know and hate––a racist, privileged and entitled white woman from the South who terrorizes her new neighbors once she discovers they are Black. Again, this is a movie, not a documentary. Although they could probably skip hiring a writer and just make the script by piecing together dialogue from all of the Karen cellphone calls from 2020 alone.

There’s not much info about this future Oscar-sweeper, but Coke Daniels (whose directing credits include Who Made The Potatoe Salad?, Parking Lot Pimpin, and Hollywont) tells TMZ that he wants to give folks an interesting perspective on social justice and race relations in America. As for Tara, this latest role has now been added to her resume, which includes playing Britney Spears’ BFF in Crossroads, Nola, a slick prostitute who hustles radio DJs for her rapping pimp in Hustle & Flow, and Pennsatucky in Orange Is the New Black. And most recently, Taryn played Faye Resnick in The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson.

Also, if you’ve read the many horror stories about Taryn, and have also read about her being a Trump-supporting QAnon believer, then you’re probably saying, “Oh, so this IS a documentary since she doesn’t have to do any acting.”

And this is good news for the Karens of the world who are sick of the term “Karen.” They no longer have to demand to speak to the manager of the term Karen, because now that a Karen movie is being made, the term is officially dead.
