Open Post: Hosted By Madonna Giving A Surprise Performance At A Pride Event In NYC
And as we all come to the close of the only month when the masses care about the gays (much like Black History Month, but that’s another conversation) one of our patron saints and Queens Madonna decided it was time to break out her old THOT gear and entice the children with a much-needed Pride appearance in NYC. And true to form, she came through with hits and tits. FYI: There are fishnet-covered Madipples ahead:
Open Post: Hosted By The Teletubbies’ Pride Merch, Which Some People Think Is Their Way Of Coming Out
Like there’s really been a need for them to “come out.”
Some people (Jerry Falwell) have wondered about the sexuality of the Teletubbies, for some reason. And now, the Teletubbies have partnered with GLAAD for Pride Month and will be releasing a line of LGBTQ Pride merch, and people think this means the Teletubbies have come out!
Jonathan Bennett And His Fiancé Jaymes Vaughn Were Turned Away From A Wedding Venue For Being Gay
Huffington Post says there was a bit of drama for lovebirds and fiancés, Jonathan Bennett (aka Aaron Samuels in Mean Girls) and Jaymes Vaughn (aka the Chippendales cast member who was on Amazing Race). They were turned away from a wedding venue in Mexico because it’s a gay wedding. But Jonathan and Jaymes didn’t let that kill their wedded dreams and now they plan to make their wedding even more beautifully gayer.
Kate Winslet Says She Knows “At Least” Four Gay Actors Who Are Afraid Of Coming Out
Kate Winslet stars in the sad-repressed-historical-lesbian film Ammonite, so she talked about sexuality and homophobia in the biz for a recent interview with The Sunday Times. Kate says she can think of “at least four actors” hiding their sexuality because they’re scared of not getting cast in straight roles. Continue reading
Open Post: Hosted By This Orange County Gay Club’s Dolly Parton Mural
Dolly Parton may not want a statue of her erected in the Tennessee State Capitol, but she didn’t mention anything about murals in Orange County, CA! So Strut, a gay club in Costa Mesa, went ahead and honored the icon with a gorgeous 50-by-20-foot mural. The club’s CEO, Luke Nero, commissioned the piece from artist David Gilmore after Dolly donated a million dollars towards the new Moderna vaccine (she got her first shot last week!). David’s goal was to create a “glamorous” and “spiritual” portrait of Dolly, and I think he hit his target. His piece makes Dolly look like Mother Nature, blonde Jesus, and a 1970s Southern beauty queen all rolled into one.
JoJo Siwa Introduced Her Girlfriend To Her Fans
Last month, 17-year-old YouTuber JoJo Siwa came out. Last week, JoJo went on The Tonight Show and revealed she had “the most amazing, wonderful, perfect” long-distance girlfriend. Last day (errr, yesterday), JoJo unveiled her girlfriend’s mystery identity on Instagram. Her name is Kylie (no, not Jenner, but what a twist that would be!), and her Instagram bio describes her as a “human golden retriever” (perfect for JoJo), and the couple has been together for a month. Wait… WAIT. Just a month? 31 days?! And they’re already madly in love? Sigh. Ohhh, to be 17 again.
Now, to be fair, JoJo’s caption says that they were best friends for more than a year before that. She posted pics of them dressed as the Grinch and the Grinch’s dog Max at Disneyland, goofing around wearing masks, and singing Justin Bieber in the car. Yep. These two are the type who wear furry costumes and visit Disney during the pandemic. What, are you surprised?
