Anyone who gets the sads tends to have a ritual for feeling a little bit better. Maybe it’s taking a nap, eating a hearty, healthy meal (read: a family-size bag of Cheetos), or watching a full season of any TLC reality show to remind yourself that your life isn’t actually a trainwreck. If those options don’t work for you, then may I suggest an emotionally intelligent dog buddy? Yep, some animals support their humans during the tough times instead of licking their own butts (cut to me giving the side eye to my sister’s cat)!
Former First Pup Bo Obama Has Died
The Great Doggie Afterlife just opened its safety gates, checked for loose fence panels in the backyard, put out a new set of food and water dishes, and welcomed frolicking newcomer Bo Obama to its list of feisty, four-legged charges. No one could mistake the luscious charcoal tufts of curly fluff bounding over to the reception area, and the whole joint just got a lot more classy and glammed up, because good hair opens all the doors, and raggedy ol’ Becky can eat her heart out.
Bo, the Obamas’ beloved Portuguese Water Dog, died on Saturday at the age of 12, after a battle with cancer.
Five People Have Been Arrested In The Kidnapping Of Lady Gaga’s Dogs And The Attempted Murder Of Her Dog Walker Ryan Fischer
Justice is sizzling on the grill and seems about ready to be served, as five people have been busted and charged for their alleged roles in the dognapping of two of Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs as well as the attempted murder of her dog walker and friend, Ryan Fischer. At the end of February, Ryan was shot in the chest while walking Gaga’s three dogs, Miss Asia, Gustav, and Koji in Hollywood. Gustav and Koji were taken but Miss Asia was not. Which is why she should run the Paw Patrol. Gaga’s promise of a $500,000 reward led to the dogs being returned safely, and Ryan thankfully recovered from his gunshot wounds and was released from the hospital at the end of March. Well, Miss Asia better get her best testifyin’ outfit together, because she may have to do so in the future since those dirty dognappers have been arrested, including the woman who turned Gustav and Koji over and tried to get the reward. SHAME. LESS.
Giggy Vanderpump Has Died
Listen, shitting on 2020 has been done to death. We get it, it’s been a rough one. But the blows just keep coming! Over the weekend, it was the tragic news that Gigolo “Giggy” Vanderpump, the real star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, passed away. He was approximately ten years old. My religion is Real Housewives, so this one hit hard. Giggy’s owner, Lisa Vanderpump announced the little Pomeranian’s death on her Instagram, and shared that she and husband Ken Todd were “devastated”.
Vulcan, The Queen’s Dorgi, Has Died
And then there was one. Today brings the sad news that Vulcan, THE QUEEN’s dorgi pup (that’s a supreme lowrider dachshund/Corgi mix) has died. Pour out a splash of tea from the bone china for Vulcan, whose passing leaves Liz with just one remaining pooch, another dorgi named Candy.
