Diplo Gave His Thoughts On Sia Wanting Some No Strings Fun With Him

January 27, 2020 / Posted by:

Sia spoke with GQ recently and told them all about how she wants to get some from her old friend and collaborator, Diplo. Same, Sia. But while I’m not in a position to even try to get Diplo to fuck me, you are and you shot your shot! And I respect the hell out of it. And Diplo gave his response on that. His thoughts? “No comment.”

FKA Twigs Wanted To Sing During The Prince Tribute At The Grammys, But They Didn’t Ask Her Ass

January 27, 2020 / Posted by:

Jehovah’s Sexiest Witness became the Afterworld’s Sexiest Resident in April 2016, and at the next Grammys in 2017, they paid tribute to him with a performance from Bruno Mars and The Time. And at last night’s Grammy Awards, they paid tribute to him again, and while I think every Grammy Awards should have a Prince tribute, I wondered why exactly they were doing one. Turns out, it was an informercial to promote the Grammys tribute concert to Prince that will record tomorrow and air on CBS later this year. Usher is a part of the Grammys tribute concert, so he did the tribute last night, and I give that entire dull glitter mess of a performance 5 out of 5 Prince side-eyes:

And that bland tribute mostly got 5 side-eyes due to Sheila E getting pushed to the back, and FKA Twigs being used as a glorified Usher back-up dancer. And she claims it wasn’t her choice to not sing.

Billie Eilish Won Pretty Much Everything At The Grammys Last Night

January 27, 2020 / Posted by:

The Grammys happened last night and just as negotiators suspected, the note made from cut up magazine clippings reading: “Give Cats Album of the Year or I blow the bomb!” was just a copycat-hoax. Phewf! 18-year-old Billie Eilish really took that possibly rigged shit to town, sweeping all the major categories. Catch her licking poles to taste blood in celebration. But most blessed of all is Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes didn’t have to get down to their skivvies to shamelessly get three seconds of attention. Amen!

Taylor Swift Won’t Be Performing At The Grammys Tonight

January 26, 2020 / Posted by:

For the first time in ages, this year’s Grammys might actually be sort of interesting. It has nothing to do with the actual awards or the performances or whether host Alicia Keys will continue to represent true courage and go sans fards again this year. The behind-the-scenes drama resulting from former Grammys head honcho Deborah Dugan’s ouster and subsequent burning of every bridge possible on her way out is the real story! One of the more intriguing claims Dugan has made, by the way, is that the “Song of the Year” category is fixed. Coincidentally, Taylor Swift’s up for “Song of the Year.” Even more coincidentally, she’s pulled out of performing at the show tonight.

The Recording Academy Denies That The Grammys Are Rigged

January 24, 2020 / Posted by:

In 2006, U2 won the Grammy for Album of the Year for How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, and Song of the Year for Sometimes You Can’t Make It on Your Own. Also nominated for AOTY and SOTY in 2006 was The Emancipation of Mimi, and We Belong Together. I’m not saying the Grammys give preferential treatment to old white dudes. But you’ve got a greater chance of catching Mariah waking up on poly-blend sheets than you do finding a person who can hum the melody of Sometimes You Can’t Make It on Your Own.

And Mariah Carey is just the tip of the snubby iceberg. It’s almost like it’s rigged. Even the recently-fired former head of the Recording Academy Deborah Dugan implied the show was rigged by saying that the 2020 Grammy nominees look the way they do due to multiple “conflicts of interest.” But the Recording Academy is here to assure you that the Grammy voting process is absolutely not fixed.

Ex-Grammys Boss Allegedly Tried To Extort Company Upon Ousting

January 21, 2020 / Posted by:

Page Six is spilling some insider dirt on the behind-the-scenes shitstorm known as The Grammys. Apparently the first-ever female boss of the Recording Academy (who runs The Grammys) is involved in some major drama. It seems that Deborah Dugan was fired from her gig and it’s either because The Academy is a boys club trying to frame her, or because she’s a sociopath who thought she could shake them down for millions. Who to believe? …Really, though, who? I feel like both are super possible in Hollywood.
