And since our culture can’t read real good, Marilyn Monroe has about as much chance of resting in peace as Ana de Armas does of wiping Deep Water and all that led up to it from our collective memories. Even if Blonde, for which we now have a feature-length trailer, skyrockets her to stardom, there’s always going to be a faint snail trail left behind.

Yes, we’re back to this fuckery again. Pimp Mama Kris must have something bad bubbling under the surface down in Kalabasas (they haven’t changed the spelling of “Calabasas” yet, but we all know it’s coming), because whenever something not so great is happening in Kardashianland, it seems like the “Satan of Spin” deploys one of the K-klan to step out on the stroll to create a diversion. Kim Kardashian has made several stops recently to promote her new skincare line SKKN by Kim, but made sure to drop some tender nuggets for people to eat up so they pay no attention to whatever krap may be going on behind the kurtain. Apparently, Kim isn’t eating any kind of nuggets though, because even though literally no one asked her, she said that she’s lost even more weight since slimming down to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s president-plundering dress for the 2022 Met Gala; and, no, that weight wasn’t the 150 pound, tattooed dudebro Pete Davidson (but I’m sure that’s on the horizon), it was five more pounds on top of the 16 she’d already lost to (still not really even) fit into Marilyn’s dress.

The second coming of Marilyn Monroe (or so she wants us to believe) Kim Kardashian got a lot of flack for wearing one of Norma Rae’s iconic dresses to the Met Gala. Some said it was huge mistake, historians said she stressed the integrity of the fabric, and others were concerned that she lost an unhealthy amount of weight to fit into the thing. Kim defended her decision to drop them pounds by comparing herself to Christian Bale who famously yo-yos in weight as a sacrifice to his art. That’s right, squeezing your HoneyBaked ham into a size 0 pair of jeans is now an act worthy of the Louvre!

Kim Kardashian’s determination to wear a dead woman’s clothes, that don’t even fit, in the face of near-universal ridicule and ire, apparently knows no bounds. One would think that walking the red carpet at the Met Gala with your ass hanging out of the back of the dress you borrowed from a museum whose main attraction is a collection of shrunken heads only to be accused of desecrating the memory of a beloved Hollywood icon, would be enough humiliation for one day. But that would mean that Kim possesses even an ounce of shame, and I’m pretty sure she had all that removed to make room for more ass. Kim posted an update to her Met Gala evening on Instagram and revealed that she wore a second dress that used to belong to Marilyn Monroe. That means she wore at least two dresses that evening, and possibly hundreds more. Who knows how many replica dresses she blew out.
