Jamie Spears Says He’d Love To See Britney Spears Get Out Of Her Conservatorship
The #FreeBritney movement’s motives and goals are simple: they literally just want to hashtag-free Britney Spears from her nearly 13-year-long conservatorship. Specifically, to free Britney from the control of her father, Jamie Spears. Britney herself has made it very clear that her wish would be for either her father to step away from her business, or at least be made to work with a third party to prevent him from executing any shady business moves. Britney’s backup wish was granted last month when a judge decided that Jamie would have to co-conserve with Bessemer Trust. Still, anyone familiar with the #FreeBritney movement, or those who watched Framing Britney Spears, probably think it would be in Britney’s best interest to just do away with the whole conservatorship thing altogether. Britney Spears has recently made the claim that she’s the happiest she’s ever been in her life, but as it turns out there’s just one element of her life that is preventing her from reaching top-shelf joy. And that’s her dad Jamie Spears staying on as her co-conservator. We’re learning that Britney doesn’t just want Jamie to have limited access to her conservatorship decisions. She might actually want him completely removed from her conservatorship altogether.

TMZ says that Britney Spears‘ father, Jamie Spears, tried to pull some shenanigans in court again. While it may appear at first glance that things have come full-circle and Daddy Spears has now become a part of the #FreeBritney movement, it’s probably just some more stalling tactics as he’s claiming that Britney’s own lawyers can’t speak for her and she needs to speak for herself in court. I hope she does speak for herself, and I’m sure that when Britney gets up to speak it will be our next great Communist Manifesto.
Britney Spears’ Father Wants To Keep Her Conservator Case Sealed For Her Own Good
Britney Spears is currently fighting against her father, Jamie Spears, in her conservatorship case. Brit Brit has made it clear that she doesn’t want her father to be her sole conservator and also doesn’t want him to choose a co-conservator. Jamie wants to bring back an old conservator, Andrew Wallet, to handle her finances, but Britney herself made legal moves by asking the court to let her choose her co-conservator. Britney also threw support for the #FreeBritney movement and said that her conservatorship case should be made public because she’s got nothing to hide. Jamie has now filed papers, asking for the opposite. I mean, the court should just keep it simple and let Cher decide since Cher should decide most things.
