Britney Spears’ Lawyer Said She’s “Afraid” Of Her Father And Will Never Perform Again As Long As He’s In Charge

Jamie Spears has already said he’s tired of hearing what his daughter Britney Spears‘ lawyer, Samuel Ingham, has to say. Daddy Spears has said that he wants to hear from his daughter’s own lips. Well, Jamie sure won’t like what Samuel has said now, because it’s specifically about him. According to Samuel,  Britney is “afraid” of her father and will never hit that stage to lip-synch and arm wave again so long as he is in charge of her career. The #FreeBritney movement just had a call to arms! Derrick Barry, assume the position!

Us Weekly said that at a court hearing yesterday, Samuel dropped the info. Britney has of course been battling it out with her dad in court over her 12-year conservatorship which she’s been trying to get Jamie out of completely. She’s called out Jamie for hiring expensive friends on her dime and tried to get everything unsealed to the public while he’s doing his best to keep it in the shadows. Despite it all, Britney’s said she’s the happiest she’s ever been. And I think we now know why: She’s been away from her dad who 100% sucks ass–and not in a good way.

Samuel told the court they need to make a choice because Britney is never doing anything ever again if her dad is involved.

“My client has informed me that she is afraid of her father. She also stated that she will not perform as long as her father is in charge of her career. We are really at a crossroads.”

Jamie’s team did their usual “hearsay” bullshit saying that since it didn’t come from Britney’s own mouth, it doesn’t count. She has already released numerous songs on this very topic, sir! Overprotected, I Wanna Go, Lucky, Piece Of Me? Have you been asleep the last decade? We know Britney wants out!

Unfortunately for some reason Judge Brenda Penny did not suspend Jamie as conservator, but suggested there can be more discussion “down the road.” via CBS LA:

A judge Tuesday denied Britney Spears’ request to suspend her father’s duties as the conservator of her estate, but said she would not rule out hearing a similar motion in the future.

“That’s the subject of another discussion down the road,” Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny said.

Penny appointed the Bessemer Trust Co. to share duties with Jamie Spears to manage his daughter’s business affairs.

Meanwhile, 65-year-old Lynne Spears–who became more involved with Britney’s conservatorship to help her daughter–is an “interested person” in the case and her lawyer, Gladstone Jones, also spoke at the hearing and is staunchly Team Britney.

“It has broken Lynne’s heart to watch that this has come to this point.… Lynne believes the time is now to start fresh given the circumstance of Britney’s request.”

Gladstone Jones also claimed that during last summer when Lynne first got involved with the case, Jamie spoke to her and compared Britney to “a racehorse who has to be handled like one.” I mean, I know that Britney can run extremely fast but a racehorse? Racehorses are like… notoriously treated like shit.

So the #FreeBritney movement knows what they have to do, right? Dress Derrick Barry up as Britney, switch him with the real Brit-Brit and she runs off into the sunset with a headstart until somebody notices it’s Derrick in drag. Miley Cyrus can put on an impromptu performance in front of the house to distract during the switch. Like Ocean’s Eight but disappearing Britney Spears.
