Cher Has Thoughts About Britney Spears’ Conservatorship

August 30, 2020 / Posted by:

Fresh off from trying to volunteer at the Postal Service, Cher has used her tweeting-fingers for another cause. Cher is wondering why Britney Spears is still under a conservatorship and slapped at those who are using Britney as a cash cow, as Britney’s dad said, “Why is everybody looking at me?!” And, of course, Cher being Cher, if she’s got something to say, she’s going to say it. And if it’s on Twitter, it’s going to be accented with 50,000 emojis.

Following the recent court decision––which extends Britney’s conservatorship to at least February 2021, meaning that her dad, Jamie Spears, will continue to ignore the #FreeBritney movement and remain in charge of his daughter’s affairs while her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, will have a hand in her financials––Cher is no longer keeping quiet about what SHE thinks should be happening over there at Casa de Spears. Forget about the gold-diggers, Cher wants somebody OUTSIDE of Britney’s family to step in and intervene.

Cher posted a very pointed tweet on her feed last week, claiming that when it comes to Britney’s well-being, somebody needs to “gimme more” because things are just not adding up.

Not satisfied with a regular keyboard exclamation point, Cher doubled down in anger with the almighty RED ! EMOJI. Also, “Is It a Duck!?” is my pick for statement of the year 2020.

If you’ve been paying attention to Cher’s Twitter feed this year (and, if so, lucky you), you’ll notice that this isn’t the first time she’s questioned Britney’s conservatorship. Back in January, before Britney had to shut down her Las Vegas residency after her father got sick, Cher was quick to ask bitches just how it was possible for somebody deemed healthy enough to work but NOT healthy enough to care for herself at home. Seriously, Jamie is going to rue the day he unknowingly messed with the Almighty Cher. Just ask Wendy Williams––you do NOT want Cher on your bad side.

While Cher hasn’t specifically addressed the #FreeBritney movement, she clearly has thoughts about who should be in charge of Brit’s life––and she doesn’t think that Daddy Spears is “strong enough” and Brit herself reportedly agrees. At Britney’s next conservatorship hearing, I wouldn’t be surprised if Cher shows up and lays a “Schnap out of it!” on Daddy Spears.
