Open Post: Hosted By The Scratch-And-Sniff Meat Patch For People Trying To Go Vegetarian

/ January 29, 2020

Do you get the meat sweats? Either because you eat too much of it? Or because you crave it so badly you sweat from withdrawals? (Dick meat doesn’t count here, I think.) Well, here’s the invention for you! And it’s not called self-control! A new plant-based food company partnered with a professor from Oxford to create a meat patch that is totally not a marketing gimmick. But this isn’t like a nicotine patch where your body is exposed to some salty-delicious bacon periodically throughout the day in an effort to wean you off the stuff. This is a sticker you put on your arm, and scratch and sniff whenever you get a craving for meat. So instead of eating meat, you can just look like a total psycho in public!

Tupperware Tuppertoys Stencils!

There was a time when Tupperware tried to expand their core demographic beyond women who used their products to throw Tupperware-buying parties that were a front for parties where wives would secretly get crunk and party with escorts and hustlers they all hired (that’s what really went down at those parties, right?). Tupperware put out Tuppertoys sometime in the 1970s, and it included a ball tosser and a toy Noah’s Ark, but the one I remember the most (and didn’t even know it was from Tupperware) was their lunchtime stencils from the 80s!

GE’s P’jammer alarm clock from the 1980s!

Since neither me or my sister had the P’jammer alarm clock, whenever I saw it at a friend’s house, I always thought it was a really fancy and technologically advanced toy microwave for a Barbie, or something. Dlisted: The Podcast, Episode 69 – We Made It To 69!

/ January 8, 2020

After gorging our mouths with candy and our brains with the CGI’d faces in The Irishman during the holidays, Allison and I are back with out very important 69th episode! We start with getting into everything we watched during our break including The IwishIwasntWatchingThisMan, Cats, and Don’t Fuck With Cats. From there, we give our thoughts about all things Golden Globes from Ricky Gervais’ opening to Joaquin Phoenix’s call to save the planet to how in the hell did Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson create Chet Haze. We also talk about the messy timeline of Michelle Williams’ union with Thomas Kail.

Other stories we cover are Raddix Madden, Chloe Sevigny’s hipster baby, Gabrielle Union calling out her Uber driver for caca-ing in her bathroom, Jenny McCarthy bragging about Donnie Wahlberg leaving a big tip, and a bedbug bomb at a Walmart.

And the question of this episode is: dick cheese, vegan or not?

You can find us on iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn, Spotify, and Google Play. If you’ve got a question or want us to cover something, e-mail us at: [email protected]!
