Hot Slut Of The Day!

GE’s P’jammer alarm clock from the 1980s!

Since neither me or my sister had the P’jammer alarm clock, whenever I saw it at a friend’s house, I always thought it was a really fancy and technologically advanced toy microwave for a Barbie, or something. But the P’jammer wasn’t a toy, it was an electronically impressive tool of the 80s that could both wake your ass up and lull you to sleep with the sound of Miami Sound Machine cooing out of an FM station.

The GE P’jammer, which sounds like a cutesy name for something a dude sticks in his pee slit to keep the piss from coming out, was slathered in pastels, because everything in the 80s had to be slathered in pastels. It was an alarm clock and a radio, and featured Bluetooth’s low-fi grandpa known as a headphone jack.

There’s many P’jammers up for sale on eBay and Etsy, which is surprising to me. They must be cheap knock-offs. Because if you owned such an important part of radio history, why would you ever let it go? I mean, again, it can (sort of) double as a Barbie microwave!
