According to TMZ, Jamie Lynn’s big sister Britney Spears isn’t the only one who had to deal with the controlling ways of her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears. In the book, Jamie Lynn writes that when she became pregnant at 16 by her boyfriend at the time Casey Aldrige, her parents were upset. And where’s the #Justice4JamieLynn movement when you need them? That’s right, nowhere to be found. Poor Jan, I mean Jamie Lynn.
Lynne Spears Has Spoken About Jamie Spears Agreeing To Eventually Step Down As Britney’s Conservator
Christmas, Hannukah, New Year’s, Halloween, Arbor Day, Toyotathon, and every other calendar-year celebration came early for Britney Spears and the #FreeBritney movement when Britney’s father-slash-money manager-slash-alleged abusive puppetmaster Jamie Spears said he is “willing” to step down as her conservator after 13 years. That will be discussed at a hearing on September 29th. And Britney’s mom Lynne Spears gave her quick response to Jamie teasing his exit.

UPDATE: Well that celebration lasted for about one second because Jamie Spears’ attorney tells NBC News that he’s not resigning at this time but “is willing to step down when the time is right, but the transition needs to be orderly and include a resolution of matters pending before the Court.” Insert one million OprahSoWhatIsTheTruth.GIFs here.
UPDATE II: The Hollywood Reporter adds that Jamie Spears has agreed to step down in the future but there’s no timeline for when that will happen. It will be discussed at a hearing on September 29.

When Britney Spears told the court that she wants out of her 13-year conservatorship and wants her family to pay for what they’ve done to her (she’s talking about you too, Jamie Lynn Spears), she also told the judge that she’d like to get married and have another kid. But according to Britney, her conservators, including her dad, Jamie Spears, won’t allow her to get married and refuse to let her take her IUD out. (The conservators have denied this).
